Maybe you haven't thought about how your going to decorate your table for your guests. I thought I'd share these pictures with you. This table is so elegant, yet simple. You wouldn't know it, but under all this decoration is an 8 foot sheet of plywood.

My brother only had a smaller kitchen table, not enough to seat 12 people. So he put this plywood down and the love of his life decorated the table. Little did any of us know, that it wasn't a formal dinning room table we were eating at. Under all this beauty, was a rough piece of lumber.

I must say my brother is pretty clever, but I guess I am a little biased:) He is a good cook too, and boy what a dinner he made that day. The decorations definitely pulled the whole dinner together.

Aren't those flowers beautiful too:) I would of never thought of putting these color combinations together. We did eat and visit that day, with the lights dimmed and the candles lit.

You see on the table there are gold plates under the white plates. The gold plates were not plates you eat off of. They were placed for the ambiance and believe it or not they were actually plastic. The color gold adds a richness to anything, a little bit goes a long way.

There were multiple salt and pepper shakers on the table and extra butter. This really helped things go smoother when it came time to pass things around. So the candles were lit, the room was softened.

The Napkin Ring Holders were a nice touch of class. At this table there were two different sets of napkin holders. I know many times we may not have enough to match for each setting. What a great idea, to place a different holder on the end settings. Of course the head of the table is ususally where the men sit, so these tree napkin holders worked out great!

One more thing to think about, is a nice glass pitcher, with tea or water. Place some slices of lemon and or lime in your pitcher. This is so beautiful, it is like having an added piece of art at your table.

I hope these pictures inspire you for your next table decoration. These pictures should work for any of the upcoming get togethers you might have.  Just change your flowers or your center piece. I have to say I was impressed, this couple really had it together, together.
