Hollywood's Best On-Screen Duo/Group
58A movie can either be a flop or a hit. A movie’s success depends on the right combination of production elements. It should begin with a compelling script (written story) supported by enough pre-production planning/preparations (selection of cast, crew & location), followed by good direction, perfected by post-production activities (editing, scoring music & soundtrack, sounds & visual effects designing etc.) and proper sales and distribution.
One of the most crucial parts is selecting the right actors/actresses for the movie. Have you ever wondered if a hit movie would receive the same response should a character be portrayed by a different actor/actress? I believe even an actor acts really well but if the role doesn’t fit his aura, the movie would not really be that good.
Imagine if it’s not Di Caprio who played Jack or if it’s not Winslet as Rose, could “Titanic” still earn that humongous success? If Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were not cast for the lead roles as well as the supporting actors/actresses, could the 1st Twilight movie still push the completion of the sequels?
Pattinson only had a supporting role as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and Daniel Radcliffe got the lead. Now, in just one movie, Robert outshines Daniel who has done 6 movie sequels of Harry Potter (7th sequel to be completed until 2011). Daniel has been in television since 1999 (playing the young David Copperfield) and in films since 2001, he was 12 years old that time. Robert started on TV in 2004, he was 18 years old back then. One thing in common though, they are both from London, England.
As to the supporting casts of Twilight like Ashley Green, Nikki Reed, Taylor Lautner, Cam Gigandet and others, their careers have greatly improved after being cast for the roles. Green, Reed, Lautner & Gigandet also received awards for the movie from various award giving bodies.
