Upon anyone whether night or noon

Never thoughts happier than thoughts of you

Nothing I would ever rather do

Than to sit and talk with you a while

Your singular beauty stuns my mind

Honey never sweeter than you are

Lavish gifts I cannot repay in kind

Were I to give the moon and all the stars

Perhaps a flame so hot burns over fast
