"Surely I mustn't have heard that correctly! Did this guy just say that I can earn an ethical online income? Did he really just use the words 'ethical' and 'online' in the same sentence?"

I sure did! And there will be some people shaking their heads with skepticism. They have heard all the hype about this internet affiliate marketing business before. Their email inbox is cluttered with spam advertising the latest 'get rich quick' schemes (did I spell that wrong - I think I meant scams!) and pharmaceutical products. These people may have even tried to invest in some of these 'make a million dollars on autopilot' nightmares and become quickly disillusioned.

If you are one of those people, then I don't blame you. In fact, I have a confession to make. I was one of those people too! I did start out by throwing money away on some of the poor quality affiliate marketing training that was being offered. I too ended up with an email inbox filled to capacity with offers, products and training - all guaranteed to make me a million dollars in my spare time. As it turned out, by the time I had sorted through my inbox, I didn't have any spare time! And none of them made me a million dollars.

However, I decided not to become disillusioned. I really was interested in the possibility of running my own home based computer business. So, I persisted and did some further research. Actually, I did a lot of further research! And I discovered that the 'spammers' and 'scammers' are actually in the minority in this business. Perhaps, there seems to be more of them because they are so much louder and obnoxious! But when you really look closely, you will discover a whole bunch of internet affiliate marketers who have enormous amounts of integrity. These people made the choice that ethical business practices are essential. And I agree. I have long believed that integrity is the foundation for any successful business.

And perhaps that is why some of the schemes I have looked into previously did not sit well with me! And perhaps it is why I am so keen to have people understand that you can work at your own successful home based affiliate business, while maintaining your integrity and reputation.

In my journey thus far, I have learned to deal only with those who have the integrity to be up front and honest about their products and practices. If you are interested in pursuing internet income opportunity, please do not become disillusioned. Shop around for the best training. And when you find something that sits well with your beliefs and values, go for it!
