#4. Inverter

Energy is stored in your deep cycle battery from the homemade solar panels it is stored here, its called a Direct Current (DC). You will need to convert this energy from your DC (direct current) and have it turned to AC (alternating current). This will allow you to use your appliances in your home. That is the best use for the inverter.
