Given the high cost of the surgical removal of skin tags, many people prefer to use alternative home remedies. There is in fact a big number of method that can be used for that purpose. Here are some of them.

1- You can remove skin tags with duct tape :

Duct tape can be easily used to remove skin tags. if you want to give it a try, then you'll just have to cover each skin tag with a piece of duct tape. Then leave the skin tag covered 2 or 3 days and then check to see if it's about to fall off.

If it turns out that the skin tag is still hanging on, then put on a new piece of duct tape.

2- You can remove skin tags with fingernail polish :

If you want to get rid of a skin tag, you can also cover it with fingernail polish two or three times a day for a couple of weeks until it dries out and falls off.

3 - You can remove skin tags using Castor oil and baking soda :

Castor oil is an essential oil that is extracted from a plant called Ricinus Communis. This essential oil one of the most widely used home remedies for skin tag removal.

If you want to use Castor oil to get rid of a skin tag, then you have to mix it with baking soda until they form a paste. Then you'll have to apply that mixture to the skin tag 2 or three times a day until they fall off.

4- You can remove skin tag using herbal extracts :

I used Dental Floss and Duct Tape and removed the tags in 2 days with no scarring. Tie off the tag tightly at the base with dental floss and cover with duct tape. Leave on for a full day then tighten the floss further and replace duct tape. Leave on for another full day. When you remove the duct tape after the 2nd day the tag and floss should come off clean with the duct tape. It really worked well for me with only some minor itching.
