Heres how you can make a Portable Shower that can be carried anywhere where theres no fresh Clean Water Shower facilities.

I decided to make this when my son was looking for a shower after a swim on a beach at Krabi Island,Thailand.We finally had to pour drinking water on him to flush off the sand and salt water!

Being an outdoor and gadgets enthusiast, I went to a Weed Chemical shop to look for a portable handheld Chemical Sprayer that is portable and robust that is able to take abuse with just the right amount of capacity for a flush shower. Refer to Pic1

I then bought 2 units 3 feet long extension tubes and a brass Ball Valve to suit.

Went back with what I had and shot straight to my workshop to put all bits in place.

Step1.Removed the top sprayer nozzle unit (with thumb release trigger mechanism) and thread the trigger portion using a hand tap to suit the tube thread.

Step 2.Screw the 3 feet extension tube to this trigger mechanismn and plug off the sprayer portion using sealing tape and a right thread bolt.Screw the stop valve at the top end of this tube.

Step3.Bend the other extension tube to form a slight curve at the ends.You can do it over a 10 inch diameter flower pot to have an angle of about 60deg. Transfer the Nozzle,(taken from the original Sprayer) at the end of the bent tube.(note : You have to check the thread compatibility when buying the extension tube,usually it is the same but good to check just in case! ha ha ha).

Step4.Screw this completed Spray Nozzle extension tube to the top end of the Stop Valve.

You now have a Portable Homemade Shower Spray ready to be taken anywhere where theres not water for you to have a Shower or even wash up! This unit can be heated up for 5 minutes over a Camping Gas or candle to enjoy warm shower in the nights or earling morning.(note. Do evaluate the time for the right temp.heat up to suit your stove).

Modifications:You can also have a flexible hose screwed to the plug off tee(Step2) to be used for wash up after doing light business! ha ha ha, what a flexibility! Total Cost for fittings and Sprayer Unit is around US60 in Malaysia.
