Honda Scooter

Way back when, a scooter was not considered sporty, glamorous, exciting, even sexy. Scooters were a way for meter maids to get around. These days, scooters are fun, sporty, sexy, exciting, glamorous and additionally, and probably most importantly, they are extremely easy on gas and a pretty cool way to get through the snarl of urban traffic.

Today, we see scooters downtown, and on college and corporate campuses. We see businessmen and women, college students, and club-goers on stylish scooters. One of the most stylish and highly prized scooters is the Honda scooter. With an offering of several models, Honda scooters have been elevated to the level of a force to be reckoned with.

There are currently 10 models of Honda scooter to choose from. The least expensive is the Ruckus. Least expensive doesn't mean cheaply made or cheap looking. At around $2000, this scooter is a sort of utilitarian, modernistic looking scooter that can still be called "cool". It's perfect for getting around town or campus, and is available in a bunch of colors.

On the other end of the spectrum is the uber-stylish Silver Wing. At about $8000, this scooter, which seems more like a motorcycle, is freeway friendly and has room for two, plus lots of storage room. With eight other Honda scooters filling out the middle and offering a wide range of features at all prices points, you've got a lot of choices, and good ones at that!

Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has been around since 1948, and released its first scooter in 1980. Since then Honda scooters have been growing in popularity, just as all other Honda products have been. Honda operates under the principles of "Respect for the Individual" and "The Three Joys", which are the joy of buying, the joy of selling and the joy of creating. The company is now one of the world's largest manufacturers of motorcycles, cars, ATVs and scooters, and enjoys a strong reputation.
