Trying to find a legitimate, quality e-book to show me honest ways to make money on the internet had proven to be one of the most challenging tasks I had attempted to do. My search to find someone to teach me how to make money from my home computer left me feeling vulnerable. It seemed that with every website or e-book the sales pitch was totally hyped. I’m shocked that no one offered to include some Snake Oil, free with the purchase of one of their amazing products! Ok, maybe it wasn’t quite that bad, but almost.

The search began after some brainstorming for ways to make money online after retirement. My husband and I had sold our business of 15 years and suddenly found ourselves living life in the “slow lane”. Relaxation is great, but the fact that we are “young retirees” means that I still want to be busy. If I could find out how to create some residual income streams online, then the goal of being retired but still earning some money could be achieved. Well, the goal was set, so the only thing standing in my way was learning how to do it.

After all the searching, comparing, reading of reviews and asking around in some forums, I made the decision to buy and download Holly Mann’s Honest Riches. The title being Honest Riches: Comprehensive Guide To Making Money Online pretty much encompassed everything I was looking for, so that, combined with the fact that I could not find any negative reviews or comments on the person or the book, allowed me to feel confident about my purchase.

Yes…it truly is. As I write this article and think of all that I have learned since starting out, I feel that I can honestly say Honest Riches is an excellent choice for beginning to intermediate Internet Marketers. The way Holly outlines and explains the information means you don’t have to be a computer tech or guru. In fact, if you are reading this and don’t really have a clear understanding of what Internet Marketing is, it’s not a problem, for you are one of the target groups this book was created to help. Oh, and rest assured, no Snake Oil! This book is not a get rich quick scheme. You are going to learn many different ways to build an online business.

There are many ways Holly shares about how to make money online:  Blogging for profit, high commission affiliate programs, article writing, building a website, creating and selling your own knowledge in an e-book.  And along with this you will learn how to do the research that is needed to be successfully found by the Search Engines such as Google.  What good is all your work if no one can find it?

After completing Honest Riches I had so much fun putting into practice what I had learned. At first I tried my hand with blogging then progressed to article writing. I knew eventually I would build a website, but wanted the opportunity to get my feet wet and learn without the worry of making a big blunder! The great thing about starting out is you can do a lot of things for NO cost! And don’t worry, when in doubt you can delete it out!

There did come a point when I realized that I was ready to learn more detail. I needed to fine -tune some of my skills in areas that I had found I really enjoyed working such as affiliate marketing, article writing and creating excellent, keyword rich content for the website I was planning. The good news is that I found some free e-books through a contact I had met in a work from home forum. After seeing some of her online work and then seeing her website, I felt that the recommendation for the e-books was one that I could trust. Not only had I found a trustworthy recommendation for free e-books, but ultimately found who I would be building my website through.

The free e-books are from SBI! and range in topic from the Masters Course for Affiliate Marketing (my favorite) and Net Writing, to other courses for learning to Make Your Content Pre-sell and Make Your Words Sell. They actually have quite a few other free e-book courses you can download, but these are the ones I have personally enjoyed. Oh, and don’t let the title of “Masters Course” scare you. All it means is that once you complete the 10 day course you will be a “master” of the subject!

Through all the time I have been learning honest ways to make money on the internet, I’ve realized that this will be the chance for me to build a website around what has always been important to me, and has ultimately grown into a passion. It may sound crazy, but the realization that you can create an online business out of what you like to do, be it a hobby or special skill, is nuts…but, in a good way! I had shied away from creating a website because of all the technical “stuff” I didn’t know, like where to host it, what to design it with, and how to develop the layout and concept. The same company that created all the excellent free e-books also offers just as incredible a product in their website hosting and development. The company name is SBI! or Site Build It! The diverse mixture of all you receive from them is so vast that it would be impossible for me to explain it, other than to say SBI! doesn’t just help you build a website, they help you build a successful online business.
