Noumea is the capital and the first point of call for the visitor. You’ll be taken immediately by the charms of this city. The nightlife in Noumea is also varied and fantastic, bring your dancing shoes and party the night away in the many clubs, bars and restaurants. There are a few casinos too if you’re feeling lucky.
Relax on Your Honeymoon
After all that you’ll need a few days relaxing and pampering on your honeymoon, so take to the beaches or perhaps a day trip to Amedee Lighthouse where the snorkelling will not fail to amaze.

Loyalty Island Honeymoon
After Noumea take yourself to the outer islands. The Loyalty Islands, only40 minutes away by plane, are steeped in tradition and are fascinating chance to see Malanesian culture. The islands are also home to some of the country’s pristine beaches where warm, clear waters await you.
There are three main islands in the group. Lifou is the largest and famed for its high cliffs and sandy beaches. Mare is the wildest with freshwater swimming pools and friendly local villagers.
Ouvea is a honeymoon type island with long white sand beaches and a relaxing sense of peace and quiet, perfect! The Loyalty Islands are unique and a must visit on a New Caledonia holiday.
