The nightlife in Noumea is also varied and fantastic, bring your dancing shoes and party the night away in the many clubs, bars and restaurants. There are a few casinos too if you’re feeling lucky.

After all that you’ll need a few days relaxing and pampering on your honeymoon, so take to the beaches or perhaps a day trip to Amedee Lighthouse where the snorkelling will not fail to amaze.

There are three main islands in the group. Lifou is the largest and famed for its high cliffs and sandy beaches. Mare is the wildest with freshwater swimming pools and friendly local villagers.

Ouvea is a honeymoon type island with long white sand beaches and a relaxing sense of peace and quiet, perfect! The Loyalty Islands are unique and a must visit on a New Caledonia holiday.
