When it comes to sexy actresses, there's hot, hotter, and Carla Gugino. Call me crazy, but I love a woman with curves. If she happens to be as smart and talented as the amazing Carla, so much the better. She may be best known for her roles in Sin City and Watchmen, but Carla Gugino's long career shows that there's much more to her than just a gorgeous face and hot body.

Carla Gugino was born on August 28, 1971 in Sarasota, Florida. She spent her teens in California after her parents divorced when she was quite young. Despite coming from what used to be called a "broken home", she managed to be named valedictorian of her class even while starting her career as a teen model. After finding that the modeling world wasn't to here liking, she switched to acting at the urging of her aunt, "Let's Make a Deal" model, Carol Merril.

Carla got her first taste of acting success when she landed a guest role on the Alyssa Milano show "Who's the Boss?" when she was just 17. Her big break came a few years later when she was cast in a recurring role in the prime time soap "Falcon Crest".

After "Falcon Crest", some lean years followed until she earned a leading role opposite Nicholas Cage in the big budget thriller "Snake Eyes" (1998). That led to a leading part in the Michael J. Fox TV comedy "Spin City", and Carla has seldom lacked for work since.

The role that won over the hearts of geeks everywhere was her star turn as Lucille in Frank Miller's Sin City. She showed off all her talents in Miller's dark and violent comic book turned film noir, leaving the males in the audience breathless and wishing for a rewind button. Comic books must be Carla's style, since she also played the role of Silk Spectre in the movie version of the Watchmen series.

Sadly for the many men in love with her, Carla Gugino is in a long term relationship with Venezuelan director Sebastian Gutierrez, director of the critically acclaimed "Judas Kiss", and writer of the not-so-critically-acclaimed "Snakes on a Plane". She continues to work in films and television and given her beauty and talent, can be expected to do so for many years to come.

So much for her biography, but something's missing here. Ah, yes, Carla Gugino pictures. You didn't really think that I'd take the trouble to writes such a long and boring article without leading up to what we all want to see: hot and sexy photos of Carla Gugino in various skin-tight outfits. It would be a shame to disappoint you.
