I was thinking of going to the Los Angeles Car Show to take some photos for my Prince Performance Ford Car and Truck Group I was glad I did, would you believe it came early this year in November 2008.With camera in hand I ran to the Ford Automobiles,and took a look at the 2010 Shelby GT500 that now delivers more horsepower. What a vision The 2010 Shelby GT500 is powered by a supercharged and inter cooled 5.4-liter dual overhead cam V-8 540 horsepower and 510 foot-pounds of torque. The hood has something called an extractors to cool the engine also the 2010 Muscle Car has an aluminum power dome hood that give the supercharge horsepowered automobile that Shelby Muscle Car appearance.It looks super cool. Looking more at the 2010 Shelby you can notice some great changes like the open-element air induction system that has a a conical air filter This give the car more air so it can be pumped through the engine thus making increasing more power and increasing the supercharged engine’s efficiency.Also in looking at the 2010 Cobra GT500 you will notice that the Cobra snake badge has been moved to the other side of the grille to enable maximum airflow.

Don't worry Shelby Car lovers the distinct sound is still heard though with new refinements, It’s the same with the exhaust people whom own a Ford Cobra look for that sound and want people to know they are driving down the street in something special. Overpowering, I wouldn't say it because inside the ride is pleasant so music gear heads pump up the volume and shake those sub-woofer.

What ride .63 to .50 in 6th gear 1–4 remain the same, but fifth gear changes from .80 to .74 driving you will find a stiffened the steering shaft,plus the spring and dampers have been optimized for better roll control, giving drivers more confidence when braking,and better burning out - accelerating or turning. I found the that the shifter, clutch pedal, brake-pedal efforts and overall steering efforts are easier now it moved nice and had a free crisp short-throw shifter that was easy to go from gear to gear. So spilling your morning StarBucks I hope.

Shelby’s exterior modifications are unique.From the addition of the racing stripes as on the 1960 era Ford performance vehicles to the unique signature coiled Cobra badges on the front grille and more aggressive front splitter and lower-drag rear spoiler for a high-performance. The 2010 Shelby GT500 also sports19-inch wheels of forged aluminum not a chrome wheel and is milled on both sides. The extra machining process creates a blade spokes with a strong yet very thin cross-section. You will notice that the spokes has a curve from the rim to the hub for strength, also to accentuate the Goodyear wide F1 Supercar 19-inch tires. So the next time a 2010 Shelby speeds by check those spokes it out.

The 2010 Shelby GT500 is wild with cool ford features like that of the AdvanceTrac, Ford’s stability control system with several options for performance. who new. The default on mode is for every-day driving, and a Sport mode ,how cool is that ,delivers road rash for those wanting to put the Shelby GT500 through its paces on the track. The system also can be turned completely off, but I wonder if anyone will really push that button although the anti-lock brake system and other active safety systems remain in place. Standard safety equipment includes DMVs must list like dual stage front air bags, side-impact air bags and numerous aerodynamic upgrades, including a redesigned splitter made to the front end of the 2010 Shelby GT500 and other Personal Safety Systems. Ford people call it the reskinned snake and they can not wait for it to take to the streets.
