Young dusky beauty Priyamani is really going great places.

With a string of successes in Telugu and Tamil, she is one of the hottest heroines in South India. The actress is on cloud nine after the recent screening of her Tamil classic Paruthiveeran at the Berlin Film festival where all the noted film makers from all parts of the world were keen to meet the heroine of the film.

It is worth to recall her 'best actress award' that she got for the same film while it was screened at Osian film festival. Priyamani acted in rape scene for a Tamil film and that turned out to be the topic of Kollywood.

When asked about this, Priyamani said that many have shown compassion on the character she played, after becoming the victim of rape. She said that even she had even shed tears after performing in that scene with complete involvement.

"But after watching that scene, I understood that was made with aesthetic sense. And there not even an iota of vulgarity in that", she added.

Talking about her career aspects, she said that she likes to do varied roles and the performance oriented ones like that of Sridevi in the film 'Vasanta Kokila'.

Priya also says that she likes to do in comedy and action flicks without any language barriers.

Her recent tamil movie 'Malaikkottai' was a blockbuster hit and the movie 'Sathya' that is running in tamil is originally a malayalam movie in which she paired opposite to Prithiviraj.
