As I did my daily surf of the Internet for new and upcoming Real Estate news that I could share with you, I kept stumbling across references to House Humping. Now I was a little taken aback by the frequency of the references on the web but I could remember an episode of CSI were a couple discovered a murder had taken place in the house they had decided to have their tryst in.

House Humping is when a couple travels to an open house, and then when the Realtor is distracted they find an empty room or closet to have a quickie in.

In fact whole forums have been created for house humpers. Clubs have been created and the trends seem to gaining popularity. Unfortunately few humpers take the time to consider that high they get from the possibility of getting caught can carry some serious consequences.

If caught criminal charges could be placed. This act could also damage the possibility of a sale for the Realtor and could affect their ability to get paid. I know that listing a home and doing opens house is a major expense for a Realtor. Also the homeowner may be morally upstanding and take serious offence to the unsolicited sex act that took place in their home.

So if you find yourself in the position to have a quickie at an open house I sincerely hope that you will stay in your car. Because your privates, should remain private.
