Every family has them and sometimes they seem really funny from the outside. Here are a few of mine from when I was just a little gwensgifts.

1. THere were many words that we were not able to use in our house. Among them were Hate (never could we hate; only strongly dislike) and Fart (just gas or best not to mention it at all)

2. Boys were NEVER allowed in our rooms.

3. No matter who was in our rooms, we weren't allowed to have the door closed if we had company.

4. We could close the door when in by ourselves, but we shouldn't EVER lock it

5. The worst quality a person could posess was to be : SNEAKY

6. Therefore, whispering and telling secrets was highly discouraged. Momma just always wanted to know what the heck was goin' on! and she did!

7. Bed time was ALWAYS 9:30

8. No telephone calls to be taken during dinner (for any member of the family)

9. No phone calls after 9 pm or prepare to have your head bitten off! LOL

10. When finished with dinner, one must ask to be excused.

So there you have it, 10 rules that I grew up believing in. Now how many of these do my family obey???
