So you want to know how to get a girl to like you.  I have searched this topic out before and if you ever want a wife, girlfriend, or just a hook up buddy you will need to learn some skills and grow a pair.  The first thing to do is look at what you are actually after as many of the actions are a bit different from each other.

If you just want to get a girl into bed then you can use a lot of methods that you would never even consider if you want a girlfriend.  If on the other hand you are looking for your future wife you don’t want a girl that you slept with the first time you met her.  In order to effectively campaign to get a girl it is vital that you first figure out what you are looking for in the girl.

If you have a crush and are slightly obsessed with a girl then here is what not to do.  Do not smother them with your affection.  Just because that is what they want eventually does not mean that they want it right now.  Most girls run for the exits when a guy is super nice to them and does everything they want.  Stupid yes, but this is the way it is. 

Instead act confident even if you are not.  In fact this principle applies to many things as you can be a good salesperson with no real confidence if you can fake it until you make it.  It is not done with the intention of deceiving anyone, except maybe yourself as you learn that it is not as hard as you thought.  Confidence gets girls, looks and money are secondary to confidence.

That brings us to the next step.  If you are a fat and smelly dude and you want the next Kate Beckinsale you are going to need to do a few things to clean yourself up and have a chance.  Start showering every day at least once.  Sounds dumb but many people don’t mind smelling like body odor and are just unaware.  Deodorant is worth its weight in gold.  Wear clean clothes.  You don’t need $300 jeans if you are still presentable and being clean and having proper hygiene go a long ways.

After you have some real or fake confidence and are presentable it is time to look at what you have to offer.  Do you have a job?  If you do you are fine, while if you are unemployed there is still hope but it is weak.  Many guys are under the impression that they need to be rich and while it never hurts you really just need to offer a bit of security. 

Now it is time to go and talk to a girl.  If you cant do it then get a friend to introduce you but the reality is that if you never go up and talk to her you will never meet her. And therefore you will never date her, marry her, or whatever as she will not even know you exist.

Most guys I know aren't the smartest when it comes to getting girls. They will do everything wrong. If they would learn a few simple skills they would be able to land girls that are way out of their league. Unfortunately they continue to be stupid again and again. This can make it seem like you're dating a lot, even if you're just hanging out with friends that happen to be girls.
