What Is Avocado?

Avocado is a kind of vegetable that is rich in protein, lots of nutrients and vitamins. Did you know that you can make it into a dessert? It's one of my favorite and it's very easy to make. Just make sure that the avocado is ripe. You'll know that it's already ripe because its color turns from green into maroon or reddish brown. And if you hold it, it's quite soft already.

Just prepare the following:

1.) Avocado fruit

2.) Knife

3.) Spoon and fork

4.) Bowl

5.) Sugar, milk or condensed milk

6.) Ice cubes

Preparation

This is what you will do:

1.) Wash the fruit properly.

2.) Slice it into half and remove the seed.

3.) Scoop out the meat into a bowl. You can slice the avocado into smaller pieces, or you can mash it with a fork, whichever you prefer.

4.) Add milk and sugar, or if you want you can use condensed milk.

5.) Mix it properly using a spoon.

5.) You can freeze it or put some ice cubes into the bowl.

That's it, you have now your avocado dessert. I tell you it tastes so good. Enjoy!

Lowers Cholesterol

By the way, for your information, studies show that avocado oil can reduce blood cholesterol. Despite of avocado carbohydrate and fat content, the avocado cholesterol diet is highly beneficial for lowering cholesterol. The very reason why avocado is considered effective when it comes to lowering the cholesterol levels is because it is a great source of heart-healthy monounsaturated fat. The avocado fat is a type of fat that actually lowers the LDL levels (bad cholesterol) while raising the HDL levels (good cholesterol) which protect the arteries. The HDL cholesterol or good cholesterol is the one that cleanses the arteries from what the LDL or bad cholesterol builds up.
