If we don't get enough water we may feel sluggish and experience a lack of energy. Drinking more water will give us more energy and it helps flush unwanted toxins out of our body. In my personal life, I found that drinking water helped lower my blood pressure.
2) Fruits and Vegetables. Eating fruits and vegetables instead of chips, cookies and other fattening foods will help you obtain a healthy body. Keep plenty of celery and carrot sticks(or whatever vegetable or fruit you desire) on hand so you can grab them quickly when you feel the need to munch.
3) Instead of skipping meals, eat 4 - 6 small meals a day. Starving yourself can make you sick, and it rarely ever works to help you lose weight. If you eat 4 - 6 small, yet healthy, meals a day it will keep you from feeling hungry throughout the day and you will be less likely to grab something fattening if you plan these meals out.
4) Only eat until you aren't hungry anymore. Don't try to stuff yourself. Eat slowly and once your body feels satisfied, put the fork down. I once knew a man that ate whatever he wanted and still lost weight, that is because he didn't finish his meals and only ate until he was not hungry anymore.
5) Exercise. Exercise is very important for your body and health. Even if it is just taking a walk for 30 minutes a day, exercise is good for the heart and can give you more energy. Make exercise more fun by working out to your favorite exercise dvd or by walking with a friend.
6) Clean your System Regularly. Get rid of parasites and other toxins that are in your body. Not only can this make you feel a lot better but it is how loss weight has been obtained quickly by others. Drinking plenty of water and eating plenty of fiber will help with this process.

7. Get enough sleep. If you don't get a good night's sleep your body may feel sluggish and run down, making it harder for you to lose the weight.

9. Get enough protein. Protein-lade foods can help boost your metabolism and enable your body to burn fat more quicker. It also helps rebuild muscle after workouts and helps the muscle maintain leanness. Make sure to pick proteins low in fat.
10. Substitute lower fat and calorie foods for those with higher fat and calories. Such as choosing mustard over mayonnaise, diet drinks for regular drinks, and whole grain bread instead of white bread. By making substitutions such as those mentioned, you can wind-up saving yourself from consuming too much fat and calories.
