How Blackholes Happen
55Wel I'll write this hub especially to answering my friends Sheryl C who questioning me about blackholes. Actually I dont know a lot about it but I like to explore it and share it with everyone. Blackholes was scientifically discovered from Theory of General Relativity on 1915 by Albert Einstein. The theory stated that blackholes created from the death star. This is because each of the star is massive and made out of gas and you can imagine there must be a super million star in space and because of an intense gravitational field the star is always collapsed each other and the probability for the death star to occur is more than meet the Eye! So there is no wonder why the blackholes is happen.
When the star dies, there is a logically particular reaction occur called the nuclear fusion will stop because the fuel for the reaction gets burned up. At the same time, material inwards of the death star is pulled by the star's gravity and it also will compress the core. As the core compress, it heats up and creates a supernova explosion in which the material and radiation blasts out into space. As the results of massive explosion, the highly compressed and extremely massive core is existed where the core's gravity is extremely strong even light cannot escape. This is what we called Blackholes. The blackholes is so strong in gravity and intensity and they will sink all space element near them as their "food" . Theorically, it is believed that the core of blackholes sinks through the fabric of space time where it sinks for more spaces and more times, is it true? Someone should tell me more about this.
Types of Blackholes
Untill today, scientist has discovered 2 types of blackholes.
There are two types of black holes:
- Schwarzschild - Non-rotating black hole
- Kerr - Rotating black hole
The Schwarzschild black hole is the simplest black hole, in which the core does not rotate. This type of black hole only has a singularity and an event horizon.
The Kerr black hole, which is probably the most common form in nature, rotates because the star from which it was formed was rotating. When the rotating star collapses, the core continues to rotate, and this carried over to the black hole (conservation of angular momentum).
Even though we cannot see a black hole, it does have three properties that can or could be measured
- Mass
- Electric charge
- Rate of rotation (angular momentum)
Here is a super massive useful information for space education. By the way this hub was refer from http://science.howstuffworks.com/black-hole1.htm

Thank you for the hub. It is one of my favorite topics and I was planning to write one hub on the same but you have already written it. It is a very complex and vast topic and one can keep writing about it for ages. This is already a very informative hub but there are few simple things that I feel could have easily been included in it like;
(1) Every Black hole has a threshold limit up to which it can sustain mass. If more mass is added then it will disintegrate and all mass with which it was made will come out as energy following the famous mass to energy conversion rule E = MC^2.
(2) The gravitational force in a black hole is so strong that light do not travel in straight line anymore. Yes you will be able to see things (provided if you can be alive for even a fraction of a second inside a black hole) that are behind you but they will all appear highly distorted.
(3) As we know that everything in nature exist in pairs so it is predicted that there must be something called "White Hole" although no evidence has been found yet about it. A white hole will have characteristics that will be completely opposite to a black hole.
And to answer your question at the end of the second paragraph of this article. At the center of a black hole, due to tremendous gravitational force, time and space get wrapped together such that they loose their identity altogether and hence cease to exist. The center of a black hole is called "The Singularity"
it is said a black holes sucks light years of matter radius to itself..now my question is that in a galaxy of stars.. a old star dies and turns into black hole does it strat sucking all young stars and getting much stronger and hence making a fusion process??
why does not happen.. and if does happen why universe has not yet collaspe de to this fusion process??
Hello ahmadnaim, hope my earlier comment was useful to you. I was wondering if you would be interested in linking your hubs with that of mine? I have sent you a mail regarding this. Please have a look!

Wow Ahmadnaim that is a great hub very informative and great links I think I had explained why I wanted to know.If not it was about them scientist letting of them neurons to figure out how earth was formed and again in December they are going to let them clash which could cause a black hole.I don't think they should do this but thats just my opion Thank you much Sherylc
