In order to answer the question "How do I get rid of belly fat?", you must first understand what belly fat is. Belly fat is basically stored energy, the most noticeable forms which are love handles and belly rolls. Belly fat is not easy to get rid of. You need to put in a lot of hard work to remove it. Every body's health, fitness and attractiveness are judged by it. For many people that layer of belly fat sneaks up on them, growing slowly as the years pass, for others it can be a more sudden occurrence, but no matter how it got there it can become an obsession to get rid of. Belly fat is just what it sounds like; it's the fat deposits that have accumulated around the stomach area. Belly fat and women can make the woman feel as though they are not attractive and healthy. Belly fat is one of the easiest to gain - one big dinner before going to bed is enough to gain belly fat.


Getting Rid of Belly Fat Requires A Combined Effort

As your most probably aware by now belly fat can be an extremely stubborn pest to get rid of. Diet alone will not do the trick. Diets that promise quick miracles are not the answer. They don’t work and you almost always regain the weight. Exercising alone will not answer the problem either. It is best to complement your exercise with proper dieting. Exercise in addition to proper nutrition, will cause you to be stronger and will take inches off of the belly. As you can see this is going to require some work. Exercises to lose belly fat can be easy and most importantly fun.

Exercises to Get Rid of Belly Fat

A combination of strength training and aerobic exercise along with the right nutrition plan is the best way to get rid of that stubborn stomach fat. Muscles burn extra calories. The more muscle you carry on your frame, the more calories you burn in a 24 hour period which translates into extra fat burning power.

Sit-ups and other abdominal exercises will allow you to tone your belly and give the appearance of a slimmer waist. You will be able to hold your stomach in better, but the fat will still be there. Sit-ups and other abdominal exercises are useful in building the abdominal muscles , but they have little effect on the adipose tissue located there.

Cardio exercises are great but don't just stick to them exclusively. Do more of a whole body workout along with the running. By getting more muscle groups involved you will increase your metabolism faster. This will help burn off the fat faster.

Do various forms of squats, lunges, deadlifts, clean & presses, snatches, swings, presses and pulls, mountain climbers, sprinting, etc.

A program of exercises to get rid of Belly fat would encompass a much higher percentage of the body instead of abs exercises directly targeting the midsection. The way you combine these full body exercises into a strategic workout that maximizes your metabolism is also very important.
