This is How Salvation Came To Me!
The Psalmist said:Let the Redeemed of the Lord say so. Let everyone know how you have been set Free.
Jesus said go and tell everyone what great things your Lord hath done for you!
I know people sometime have question's about there Salvation but I tell you now today is not the day to be unsure of where you will be. You have to know that Salvation has come unto you. He said his Spirit will confirm with our Spirit so we can know the Truth. And The Truth shall set you Free!
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
I was invited to Church one Sunday by a friend I was not looking for anything and I was not unhappy with my life. I was only doing what I had told someone I would do. I did not go to Sunday School only the Church Service. About half way though the service something hit me. I felt like I was shook asunder even seemed to have the after effect of a slap but not knowing it happened. Now if you can understand I had to grab the pew in front of me and hold on.
For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
I was in a shock like state did not know what to do I was being led to get up and go down to the front but the sinful man inside of me was telling me to hold on, calm down, be still, breath, just hang on. You can make it though and get out and go back home and forget about this just hold on to the pew don't let go and Breath. As the service ended I got out fast and went home. I knew all I needed was a Beer and a cigarette and all would be better.
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher
Now that night I was having some trouble sleeping and was up early the next morning so I could get to work and forget about what had happened Sunday at Church. But that was not the end of it I was being drawn to his Love I could not get it out of my mind. I got off work and went home it took about one hour to make it home. I was crying most of the way there I could not stop thinking about what had happened. All I could do was call the Preacher over to my house to find out what to do. He came over and I told him what had happened and he said I was being drawn under the influence of the Spirit to Christ. He said God looks at a person's Heart and knows the person and then he deals with people in different ways.
I ask him to help me find my Lord he led me along the Romans Road to Salvation. I was very very happy a weight had been lifted off my shoulders as he says" My yoke is light". I could not understand why he came after me. He Loved me before I ever new him. Do you understand that he is Wonderful, Amazing, This is not all he done for me as I will continue with more of what the lord has done for me.
I was smoking 2 packs of cigarettes a day when I went to Church that Sunday and on Monday night I was smoking 0 cigarettes he had taken them away from me. I did not ask he just delivered me from them and set me free from all things I was a new creation in Christ Jesus. I felt so close to him I wanted to go I mean to heaven right then and there. My spirit was so close I could feel him yes he is here and he was there I mean it was Amazing and still is.
He delivered me from a Hell that was never intended for me he was and is my Redeemer his is our Counselor yes he is Wonderful and has never let me down he is the Blessing I am thankful for every day. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever more. David says it best when he speaks about the Lord

Dan, I have seen you go from one follower of Christ to another trying to make them believe what you preach. You are acting just exactly like the devil acts. The manifestation of the Holy Ghost is way too prominent in my life for me to be going the wrong direction. You keep trying to persecute believers, but you are driving nails in your own coffin. I tried once before to have a civil discussion with you. Tried to find a common point to start from. Why do you even bother? Your behavior is troll like and similar tot hat of a teenager trying to get a laugh. Give it up and let God come intoyour life before it is too late. justcallmeleroy has given you the Word and you should heed that Word. Paul wrote that God judged Israel and He will judge us who are grafted in also.

You know Dent, I was somewhat moved by your troll hub. I assure you, my behavior is not troll like. I don't hide from anybody. And I don't make up crazy doctrines to get shock from people on the net. My sarcasm is for fun, but it is also to drive a sword through the sickest doctrine ever invented. My intentions are always good even if I poke fun at absurdities. Now, in this hub, I was asked to read it over. So I did. I commented on it and feel that I was as supportive as a truthful believer in God's scriptures can be. Now I understand that you feel you and these other hubers teach the truth. I absolutely refute that assertion of yours. And I've already told you that I don't care about how many different crazy church doctrines you believe in or flood hubpages with. The exception would be the disgusting hell doctrine. As far as finding common ground? Let's see, what music do you like. ?. . . . . .what's your. . .um. . .favorite sports team?. . . . . . .Do you like certain foods?. . . . . . . .Oh, do you believe that billions of men, women, boys, girls will be tortured in physical fire for all eternity?
That's the only uncommon ground that I am interested in right now. I will tell you here, I'll tell you in person if you wish, I'll tell Kirk Cameron on world wide TV if he asks, what ever. If you believe that even one person will be tortured in fire for all eternity, then you haven't a clue of God's love. Get real Dent!!
God's love is actually mamking a way so that no one has to go through that Dan. Are you Christ like in your sarcasm, as you call it? You make the claims to know what God wants and what he actually said, but yet you still act like the devil.
I have another question for you. Do you feel that God has called you to chastise us or to bring judgement upon us?

Dan I keep thinking of what you teach and I still see that according to you Jesus died for nothing. It means nothing and will never mean anything because it was pointless to start with, (according to you).

Nice way of skiritng the question and remark. If there was no punishment for sin why did Jesus have to die? If everyone is going to be saved anyway (according to what you preach). Jesus death was an unfortunate turn of events. If you are actually a child of God, then start preaching His Word instead of trying to derail everyone. Keep His commandments.
Dent, I hate to say this, but it's starting to sound like you just aren't a very intelligent person. Even Carrie understands that we believe in judgment. She just believes that the judgment is eternal and physical fire. She doesn't believe that the Great White Throne Lake of Fire Judgment is to set people right. I never said there was no punishment (chastisment would be the most used word in scripture for the word punishment). It's like explaining rules to a child. They just keep coming back with the same argument. No one ever suggested that sinners get off scott free. And the chosen are judged now. Jesus' death was so we would be forgiven. It doesn't erase judgment.
So who's trying to derail who?
Hn Its good to see you are starting to see the Light yes there is Punishment there will be torment there will be people that will experience a Hell Thank you for agreeing with Sir Dent and My self to what degree of Punishment that is up to God not us. He will have the final word not us so how ever the balance falls he is the one that will pass Judgement.
Jesus said here in Matt now you can take it what ever way you want but it is not the Grave!

I haven't just started to see anything. I've already spoken of judgment several times. And no, I don't agree with either you or Dent. In fact, I never once said hell was temporary or anything, because it doesn't exist and never will. Every term for hell is a mistranslation, and judgment has nothing to do with your dung filled doctrine of hell fire, you blind cave fish ya.
When I got saved it was different than what you experienced, Leroy. I had gone to church and heard the gospel but had so many "What About This Scripture" kind of verses that I wanted explained. God was patient with me and answered each one I had until I knew in my spirit that there would be no question that was going to "stump" God. I said, "God, I am through fighting. I know who you are. I know who I am. I know I need a Savior and can't save myself. I don't have answers to every Scripture that my indoctrination has twisted but I know you do. Forgive me and save me." At first there was no feeling at all except relief that I finally had said I needed Him. But the next service it finally struck me how much He loved me and how patient He was with me. I saw that He met me where I was and satisfied every legitamate question I had. I cried, I shook, I was in awe. And I said the prayer again and again though I knew I didn't have to.

So as I keep saying we must be careful on how we conduct our selves and keep using the name of Almighty God in a disrespectful way as has been done on hubs using small g's

I wonder if Hell-No knows that John 3:16, when it says "God so loved the world" that it was the way we are to "love our enemies" (agapao). It is NOT the same love He has for His OWN (agape). He died for the moral reason to give them salvation, at which time they enter into His agape love. He tells us in His Word that if we love the world with agape love (the love we have for God), it is HOSTILITY toward Him!
The Word also says that God does not HEAR SINNERS (John 9:31 "We know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He hears him."). Until we are covered by the blood of His Son through salvation, He won't even hear us!
Hell-No, you need to repent of your sin and ask Him now to forgive you. If you believe in Him, He will hear you. If you have no faith in Him, He won't hear you, nor your cries when you end up in that place reserved for the devil and his angels. That day is coming soon. You are not even promised tomorrow. Everyone here has done what they can for you, and we will not have your blood on our hands. AMEN.
I wonder if Carrie knows that they are the doctrines of this world that she futily tries to convict me with.
