How Easily Are You Deceived?
The book of Colossians reveals to us the absolute supremacy of Christ, and makes it clear why we are to worship Him.
"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have supremacy. For God was pleased to have his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross." Colossians 1:15-20
Before we take a look at these verses I want to give you a quick history background. Epaphras, the pastor of this church visited Paul while he was imprisoned in Rome with concerns about the false teaching that was infiltrating his church. Countering the false teaching of Gnosticism was one of Paul's main reasons for writing this letter; stated above.
The Gnostics were a group who believed that matter was evil. Because of this, they disbelieved that God could manifest Himself in human form. They believed that Jesus was just one of many superior beings that emanated from God over millions of years. Today, they believe that Jesus is one of the Ascended Masters, among many others who've walked this planet over millions of years, this belief today derives from the belief in an Alien race, which I will delve into further in this study. This is a very thorough study, one which has been pressing on me to write for quite some time. With so much information bombarding us daily on YouTube about the Annunakis, ancient Sumerians and Planet Nibiru, as well as all other hypothetical and theoretical documentation I felt led to delve into this further. The Gnostics did not deny Christ, but they dethroned Him. They believed and taught that they had greater knowledge than could be obtained through faith in the gospel. Their knowledge sprang from Greek mythology and philosophy, astrology, paganism, and other mystical experiences, but they claimed their knowledge was superior and "Elite." The Colossians mixed together Judaism, paganism, and Christianity, but called it Christianity. It gave Christ a place, but not the supreme place, seated on the right side of the Throne of God. All this along with Gnosticism was making a strong impression on the church in Colosse. This was a huge concern for Epaphras and Paul.
How Does Paul Counteract These Counters and False Teachings?
In these verses Paul lays out three sweeping statements about Christ and His relationship to deity, to creation, and to the church. Verse 15 talks about Christ's relationship to deity, and Paul begins by saying that He is the image of the invisible God. The Greek word for image is Charakter. Originally the word was used for an engraving instrument, but later was used both for the instrument and the product it produced, like a stamp, a coin, or a seal. (All very Important Words to remember related to this study). The imprinted image produced by the engraving instrument was the exact representation of the image on the instrument. When a Roman Emperor dispatched an official letter or document, it was rolled up and sealed with a wax seal made from the impression of his ring. The impression was the exact image of the royal emblem and thereby carried with it the official authority of the Emperor. This is a picture of the Greek word Charakter. The Gnostics were teaching that Jesus could not be the Son of God because he appeared in human form. Paul countered by saying that Jesus was the exact representation of God, and He reflects the perfect image of Deity. This statement conveyed the message to this church that Jesus was in every way; in manner, character, power, and authority, the perfect and complete image of God. This singular statement said to them that Jesus was not one of (many) emanations coming forth from God, but that Jesus was like God in every sense of the Word without variance. It says that only Jesus perfectly reveals the invisible God to mankind. A form of Gnosticism is still around today as I mentioned above, and they still believe that they have superior knowledge than the knowledge obtained through Scripture. Many believe that Jesus was a prophet of God, an Ascended Master, a good Teacher, but they do not believe that He was the true and Only Son of the Living God. The False teaching that infiltrated the church in Colosse is infiltrating the church today in America! let us be assured of Whom we believe, that is Jesus, the Son, the Only Son and that He alone is the exact representation of the Father. Only Jesus is Savior and deserves our worship and adoration.
"For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known." John 1:16-18
"Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." Gen. 1:26-27
The Hebrew word for image means appearance, form, splendor, likeness, and sculptured work. Although Jesus is the perfect image of the Father, we were created to be like Him. We were supposed to shine forth His splendor and glory. What happened? Sin happened. We all know the story; Eve was deceived, and Adam disobeyed the commands of God. They believed the lie of Satan, which means they put their faith and trust in Satan rather than in God. Plain and Simple. Many want to argue this point with various theories on how they couldn't have been deceived as they knew no wrong and sin never dwelt in them. But, they....and I will argue this point till blue in the face, we (humans) are not robots, we are created with our own free will, as God made us for His own pleasure, to love and worship Him, but He also did not create us to be mindless Stepford Wives and Husbands. Now, by following Satan's temptations and lies, and putting their trust in him rather than God they opened the door for Satan to enter into mankind and become its natural master. Rather than man appearing like God in nature and character, unredeemed man; Lies, cheats, steals, murders and commits adultery and every other perverse and sexual sin. Romans 3:21 says that all men have sinned and fallen short of the grace of God. That simply means that all men have missed the mark of appearing like God. We were shaped in His likeness and we were intended to shine forth His splendor, but the good news is that we still can. Believing that Jesus is exactly who Scripture proclaims for sinful man to be transformed into His likeness and reflect His glory. (2 Cor. 3:18).
"The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ." 2 Cor. 4:3-6
The god of this age has not changed his message one iota. He still blinds the eyes of unbelievers with fine sounding arguments, philosophies, false religions and traditions of men. He continues to proclaim that Jesus is not the only way or only hope for mankind. But praise God, the Lord let light shine in out of darkness and gave us the knowledge of God's glory in the face of Christ. A dear and precious price was paid alone, in the shedding of His blood, we should be forever grateful and praise Him at all times and in all ways.
"I have given them glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me." John 17:22-23
Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the Firstborn over all creation.
Verse 4 in Psalm 89 says; "I will establish your line forever and make your throne firm throughout all generations." David's line is established forever through Jesus, and one day Jesus will be known as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Verse 27 says; "I will also appoint him my firstborn, the most exalted of the kings of the earth." All Biblical scholars will agree that Jesus is the ultimate focus of these verses. The firstborn Son is a position of preeminence in time, rank, and dignity. Jesus is the Firstborn among many brothers who are all the redeemed Jew or Greek, male or female. One day believers will be glorified and given bodies like Christ, but He will always be the Firstborn as Israel was the Firstborn. He was appointed the Firstborn before the church existed, and He will remain so forever. The firstborn in a Jewish family inherited the family estate and managed his father's household, which is all creation. Heaven is His throne and earth is His footstool.
Jesus has always been about His Father's business. In the beginning He was about His Father's business creating the world. By His Word He spoke to earth's formless and empty state with darkness covering the face of the deep, and He brought cosmos out of Chaos. (Gen. 1:1,2). By the power of His creative Word He brought an ordered system from an unformed mass. "Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made." John 1:3
This is a very important message: Jesus is before all creation and He's over all creation in rank and dignity. Hebrews 1:3 tells us that He sustains all things by the power of His Word. Science calls it gravitation, but gravitation is simply an expression of Christ's order. Stars are held in their orbits, and oceans are held in their bodies by the sustaining, maintaining powerful Word of God. John 1:1 tells us; "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning." And John 1:14 states; "The Word became flesh and dwelt among us." As the Word He spoke to unformed masses and made cosmos from chaos, and as the Word He sustains all things. As the Word, he brought God's message to prophets of Old. In the Gospels we see the Word from the Old Testament becoming flesh and dwelling among us. The Word of the Father became more perfect and clear for us as the God/man Jesus taught, healed, worked miracles, and lived on earth. In all these things, He was about the Father's business.
Have You Been Led Away, Like Sheep to the Slaughter?
2 Peter 3:3-7 states; "First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation." But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgement and destruction of ungodly men.
Jesus describes His work by many titles. He is the Lamb of God, The Good Shepherd, The Light of the World, The Bread of Life, The Living Water, The Way, The Truth and The Life, The Door, The Rock, The Resurrection, The Cornerstone, Teacher, Master, and Friend.
In all these things He was about His Father's business. Today Jesus is Head of His body, the church. He is High Priest who sits at the right hand of the Father forever making intercession for us! When He comes again riding on a white horse as the Faithful and True Judge, as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, He will still be the firstborn who is doing His Father's business. All things were created for Him and through Him. The entire scope of the Universe is mediated by and through Christ.
"And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy." Col. 1:16
Christ is the head of the body (the church) means that we are not an organization. We are not a club, a society, a team, a cult, a committee; (thank God). The Church is a Living Organism and Christ is the ruling and reconciling, gathering, and guiding authority over it. The Church is not a denomination. There will be people of many denominations who sit faithfully each Sunday morning on the same pew in some church building, but who are not part of Christ' body, why? Because they are only going through the motions, giving lip service but not heart service, and God knows the difference; He judges our hearts. There may be some churches that do not have Christ as their head. If from their pulpits, neither Jesus nor His Spirit is ever mentioned, chances are that He is not their head. For these various types of Churches, and what God has to say about their lukewarm hearts; read Revelation Chapters 1,2 and 3.
The real church are the redeemed, all those who believe in Christ as their only way of salvation and who have personally trusted Him to take away their sins. The redeemed of the Lord are the called out ones, the assembly of the believers, the chosen, the ekklesia in the Greek. Jesus is the originating power of the church. He was the single seed that fell to the ground and died so that many seeds could come forth. (John 12:24). In John 16 and Luke 24:49 Jesus said; "I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high." This is the Holy Spirit. In Acts 2 we see the power of the Holy Spirit coming upon those who waited in the city together, and the church was formed by the power of God in Christ through the Spirit. Christ' death and resurrection gave birth to the church and all glory and honor are due Him and Him alone.
Now let's take a quick look at what the Scriptures claim will happen in The Last Days concerning The Church and falling away!
In Mark 13:5 Jesus said to His disciples; "See to it that no one misleads you. Many will come in My name, saying, "I am He! and will mislead many." "and if anyone says to you, Behold, here is the Christ; or, Behold, His there; do not believe him, for false Christs and false prophets will arise, and will show signs and wonders, in order, if possible, to lead the elect astray." Mark 13:21-22
In Galatians Chapter 3; The Apostle Paul states; "You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified? This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with Faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh? Did you suffer so many things in vain_indeed it was in vain? Does He then who provides you with the Spirit and works miracles among you, do it by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?
Matthew 24:10-13 states; "And at that time many will fall away and will deliver up one another and hate another. And many false prophets will arise, and will mislead many. And because of lawlessness is increased, most people's love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he shall be saved." "For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead many, if possible, even the elect." Matt. 24:24
Ephesians 4:13-14; "Until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fulness of Christ. As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves, and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming."

She wore the horns of a bull, she was considered beautiful and dangerous, the ancient Sumerian goddess of Love and War. "Mistress of horses and Chariots." Jeremiah Chapter 7:18 states this about the "Queen of Heaven"; "No wonder I am so angry! Watch how the children gather wood and the fathers build sacrificial fires. See how the women knead dough and make cakes to offer to the Queen of Heaven. And they drink offerings to their other idol gods! Am I the only one they are hurting? asks the Lord. "Most of all, they hurt themselves, to their own shame." "Queen of Heaven" also known as "Ishtar" and Inanna, the sacred marriage and the temple prostitute. Prostitution were prominent features of this ancient cult.
Regarding How our Lord God Almighty felt about His people worshiping other gods and goddesses it is plainly clear in the books of Jeremiah, Isaiah, Ezekiel, and all throughout the books of the Old Testament. I urge you, to not be tempted to fall into this trap, as these channelers and mediums who claim to be channeling ETs and Ancient Gods and goddesses are merely channeling familiar spirits. They have opened the door to Spiritualism and deception. To find out what God thinks about this type of spiritists and mediums read the downfall of King Saul in 1 Samuel 28:6-25.
Let's see how many times God speaks out against idol worshiping just in the book of Jeremiah alone:
Jeremiah 7:8; "Do you really think that because the Temple is here you will never suffer? Don't fool yourselves! Do you really think you can steal, murder, commit adultery, lie, and worship Baal and all those other new gods of yours, and then come here and stand before me in my Temple and chant, "We are safe?" only to go right back to all those evils again? Do you think this Temple, which honors My name, is a den of thieves? I see all the evil going on there, says the Lord."
Jeremiah 7:30; "The people of Judah have sinned before my very eyes," says the Lord. "They have set up their abominable idols right in my own Temple, defiling it. They have built the pagan shrines of Topeth in the valley of the son of Hinnon, where they sacrifice their little sons and daughters in the fire. I have never commanded such a horrible deed."
Jeremiah 8:18; "Has the Lord abandoned Jerusalem? the people ask. "Is her King no longer there? "Oh, why have they angered me with their carved idols and worthless gods?" asks the Lord.
Jeremiah 9:13-16; "The Lord replies, "This has happened because my people have abandoned the instructions I gave them; they have refused to obey my law. Instead, they have stubbornly followed their own desires and worshiped the images of Baal, as their ancestors taught them. So no, listen to what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: "Look! I will feed them with bitterness and give them poison to drink. I will scatter them around the world, and they will be strangers in distant lands. Their enemies will chase them with the sword until I have destroyed them completely."
Jeremiah 10:8; "The wisest of people who worship idols are stupid and foolish. The things they worship are made of wood! They bring beaten sheets of silver from Tarshish and gold from Uphaz, and they give these materials to skillful craftsmen who make their idols. Then they dress these gods in royal purple robes made by expert tailors. But the Lord is the only true God, the Living God, He is the everlasting King! The whole earth trembles at his anger. The nations hide before his wrath.
Jeremiah 10:15; "Idols are worthless; they are lies! The time is coming when they will all be destroyed. but the God of Israel is no idol! He is the Creator of everything that exists, including Israel, his own special possession. The Lord Almighty is His name!"
Jeremiah 13:25-27; "This is your allotment, that which is due you, says the Lord. "I have measured it out especially for you, because you have forgotten me and put your trust in false gods. I myself will expose you to shame. I am keenly aware of your adultery and lust, and your abominable idol worship out in the fields and on the hills. Your destruction is sure, Jerusalem! How long will it be before you are pure?"
Jeremiah 17:1-3; "The Lord says; "My people act as though their evil ways are laws to be obeyed, inscribed with a diamond point on their stony hearts, or with an iron chisel on the corners of their alters. Even their children go to worship at their sacred altars and Asherah poles, beneath every green tree and on every high hill. so I will give all your wealth and treasures- together with your pagan shrines as plunder to your enemies, for sin runs rampant in your land."
Jeremiah 17:5-8; "This is what the Lord says; "Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans and turn their hearts away from the Lord. They are like stunted shrubs in the desert, with no hope for the future. They will live in barren wilderness, on the salty flats where no one lives. But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water."
Jeremiah 18:9-10; "And if I announce that I will build and plant a kingdom, making it strong and great, but then that nation turns to evil and refuses to obey me, I will not bless that nation as I had said I would."
*Note: Now, these are just a few of God's warnings against Judah and Israel, and only in the book of Jeremiah. At the very beginning of the book of Jeremiah God was calling His people home like a father would to his lost children, or a husband to his wayward wife. "Like a wife who commits adultery, Israel has worshipped other gods on every hill and under every tree. I thought that after she had done all this she would return to me. But she did not come back. And though her faithless sister Judah saw this, she paid no attention." Jer. 3:6-7
"Return home, you wayward children, says the Lord, "For I am your husband. I will bring you again to the land of Israel." Jer. 3:14
The tribes were eventually scattered. And these are what makes up the Lost Tribes of Israel; which I will cover in detail in my next Hub. God makes His thoughts evident through His prophets, but unfortunately Israel and Judah had turned so far away from their One True God, and followed foreign gods of Baal, detestable Egyptian gods and goddesses that God eventually allowed them to be captured and dispersed all over Europe in foreign lands.
God's first commandment is: "Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy mind, and with all thy soul!" Deut. 6:5 I believe God commanded this of His people for their own protection against evil spirits and spiritualism which opens many doors of the underworld and the powers of Satan. Let's take a quick look at God's thoughts on Spiritualism.
"Do not listen to your false prophets, fortune tellers, interpreters of dreams, mediums and sorcerers who say, "The King of Babylon will not conquer you." They are all liars, and I will drive you from your land and send you far away to die." Jeremiah 27:9
Take a look at a few of these YouTube recordings, as I'm sure many of you already have seen. But, also take a moment to read the post regarding Ashtar!! And after reading the history regarding these ancient gods and goddesses you decide if this truth, the Truth of our Lord Jesus Christ who is the Way, Truth and Life. Many are called but few are chosen.
As Jesus says; "I am the Way, Truth and Life, and no one gets to the Father except through Me." John 14:6
Jesus said in Matthew 7:13-14; "You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who chose the easy way. But the gateway to life is small, and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it."
Read Matthew 25; The Parable of the Ten Virgins 25:1-13; And Judgement of the Gentiles; 25:14-46! Pray the The One True God of the Universe will open your eyes. That the veil will be dropped and you may see and comprehend the meaning of all Scripture.

The only way to worship the Lord is "In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!" The Word of God is being fulfilled. We must have our house in order! "TO GOD BE THE GLORY!" Jesus is coming soon... Blessings!

Satan is alive and well, and is working triple time to catch any and all he can in his deceptive trap, to snare even the believers if we're not grounded in the Word of God. As you stated above, the god of this world, which is satan the tempter of "man" is using all tactics as well as renewing all the ancient detestable idol worshipping as a "New Age" mystical and spiritual awareness. But, it is not awareness at all, except to the deception of lies and delusions of a world based on "Love, Peace, hope and blessed Harmony." This goddess worshipping has exploded into a global New Age movement of worshipping "Mother Earth" to call upon "her" enlightenment and wisdom. A mystical religion derived from the ancients and Wicca. They preach peace, peace, much like the flower children of the late 60's era, but there will be no peace until the Son of Man comes again in power and glory to establish His earthly Kingdom. Remember....The Antichrist comes in "Peace" claiming peace for the nations, and the entire world worships him for bringing in global peace; but his peace is only temporal and delusional as it is generated by satan himself. Kim Garcia - I see you have a few videos about the Annuaki on this hub.I take it you think that our Adam and eve may have been genetically engineered by them from our early apelike predicessors that science so often refer to.
If ,that's the case then it's possible that another lifeform ,perhaps reptilian in nature could have evolved on earth long before that.Just speculation on my part from knowlege culled from the internet on that possibilty.
I had a thought on the possibility that Jesus Christ represents the first fruit of humanity of which vine we all can come from if we so choose.

First of all....When God says; "I am made in His Image" More specific...Genesis 1:26; "Then God said, "Let us, (plural, Elohim) make man (people) in our image, to be like ourselves. They will be masters over all life_fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the livestock, wild animals and small animals....and it goes on to say in verse 27). "So God created people in his own image; God patterned them after himself; male and female he created them."
It is inconceivable that "God" is a Reptile. Reptiles would be classified as part of the animal Kingdom in which we, (as Humans) are suppose to be masters over. I choose to believe that my God, the God of the Bible, is not a reptile, but one of Mind, Body, and Spirit, and resembles to some extent the Human Race. If others would like to believe that they come from reptiles, than that is solely their choice. However, I have never witnessed a reptile being master over any wildlife, birds, livestock, small or great. The only one who is referred to in the Bible as appearing in a reptilian form is Satan; as he is depicted as a serpent, and dragon. Soooo....This of course is very difficult for me to swallow, as we are made in the image of God. But I do thank you for taking the time to read my Hub and posting as it is always enlightening to read others views and hear various debates regardless of the subject matter.

OK. Someonewhoknows; to answer your second question. I see your symbolism to the Tree of Life. And I do grasp this concept very well. And Yes....It is our choice whether to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and be adapted into the Vine as a "branch" of His Tree, as it states in John 15:1; That " I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch that doesn't produce fruit, and prunes the branches that do not bear fruit so they will produce even more." meaning that we (Christians, or the ones who accept Christ) are grafted into this Tree of Life. As Jesus is the vine, and we are the branches. John 15:5 states; "Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in Me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. Anyone who parts from me is thrown away like useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned." With all this said, Jesus goes on to say that those that remain in Him remain in Love, because He is Love, and those that obey Him remain in Love, and Love is His commandment....etc....
Those who chose as you say to eat the fruit of the other tree, or select to be grafted into Satan's family, will be dead branches according to Christ, as they cannot produce good fruit, and will be cut off and burned. Those who remain in Christ and His perfect Love will receive His Holy Spirit. Which is our Counselor and He counsels us and speaks to us through our hearts with many gifts, one being the gift of discernment. Which many who chose to follow their own selfish desires and the lies of the enemy do not possess as they are blinded to the god of this world which is Satan the serpent of old who comes to kill steal and destroy. kim Garcia ----- one reason I brought up the subject about reptilians has to do with stories from several areas around the world that have underground bases with human capitives that are used for slave labor and their chilren used for food by a reptilian race.U-tube had a video in egypt that claimed they found just such an underground area while excuvating the ares.The same is true in colorado where a underground engineer discobered the same activity going on inthat area underneath the Denver airport.Some scientists say it wouldn't surprise them that a reptilian race was the first to have domination over the earth.It may be possible that a reptilian race evolved on earth and then left earth with a remenant that moved underground because of a new race that was evolving ,namely us.The biblical statement those who are first will ne last ,and those that are last wil be first seems appropriate if reptilians were here first.

First of all this (my knowledge and writing) isn't from research,and you won't find anything I've written anywhere else. I'm a Christian kabbalist. It is my way of life. Christ was there during creation. But I am talking about the fall of mankind in the beginning not about salvation. After we find Christ we don't sit down and do nothing. We have to put on the mind of Christ. The Bible says In Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: The Kabbalah teaches us how. This is the Christ consciousness we speak of.
The scripture from Jeremiah 27 you have quoted above is out of context and doesn't mean what you have portrayed it to mean. God appointed Nebuchadnezzar King over Babylon
and knew there were those who would not like it and who would not regard him as King. So God told his Prophets (Seers) to go tell them that he would appoint who he wanted to and to not listen to their own Prophets and diviners and dreamers when they tell them not to serve the king God appointed because they are liars and are doing so that God will drive them out of the land. He is not saying all Prophets, all dreamers are wrong or liars.
Daniel had dreams that came true and there were many Prophets who spoke the truth. we'll have visions and dream dreams according to the Bible.

Hi Deborah, I'm glad for your comments and taking an interest in this discussion as I welcome all theories and ideas, although I remain faithful to my One True God, Jesus Christ. You still....however did not answer my question which was;

Now...To address the above comments. Yes, all you have stated in Biblically correct, I do not refute any of it, as this is True. But....Daniel was a prophet of the One True God, and His prophetic gift was given to Him by God. He was not a fortune teller, soothsayer, seer, wizard, witch, astrologer, medium or any other type of false prophet which God speaks negatively of, and detests.
It says in the Book of Deuteronomy Chapter 18:10-14; "Do not let your people practice fortune-telling or sorcery, or allow them to interpret omens, or engage in witchcraft, or cast spells, or function as mediums, or physics, or call forth spirits of the dead. Anyone who does these things is an object of horror and disgust to the Lord. It is because the other nations have done these things that the Lord your God will drive them out ahead of you. You must be blameless before the Lord your God. The people are about to displace consult with sorcerers and fortune-tellers, but the Lord your God forbids you to do such things."
God also states in Exodus 22:18; A sorceress must not live.
And in Acts it states in Chapter 19:18; Many who became believers confessed their sinful practices. A number of them who had been practicing magic brought their incantation books and burned them at a public bonfire. The value of the books was several million dollars. So the message of the Lord spread widely and had a powerful effect. This happened right after evil spirits were tried to be cast out of people by those not under God's anointing and the evil spirits jumped on these false prophets and injured them. The spiritual realm is very real, very dark, and very deceitful!! Many who wonder innocently into this type of divinations or practice are allowing "familiar spirits" to come into their lives, they are opening the door to the satanic realm and giving satan a stronghold. This is forbidden by the One True God!!
Yes, dreams visions, and such are definitely spoken of quite often in the Bible; as you will notice that the prophet Joel 2:28; said "I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see vision. In those days, I will pour out my Spirit even on servants, men and women alike." This same message is found in Acts chapter 2. But please take note that these are dreams and visions were sent by God, and interpreted by Godly people who were ordained, directed and guided by the Holy Spirit. At any rate....I do believe that you know the Bible well and have sound doctrine in much of your beliefs!! But I will take issue with what you mention about darkness not being able to extinguish the light that was brought forth by your so called creator. But that is what is going to happen eventually. Darkness, cold, matter as we know, will eventually despair. All that is today is there because it is burning (combustion), literally burning. And as soon as the materials (refer back to the periodic table) that are being combusted, everything will revert back to the beginning. Kim- I've know the technology exists to project sound into a persons head that could be taken for channeling I suppose by someone.I personally don't have first hand knowlege about how channeling works.I assume that there is a difference between thought trancference and speech,one being silent thought and the other being audible or sound.Although I do know someone who claims to see and communicate with the dead and as I recall she said it's thought rather than sound.

I know that our thought patterns create frequencies, either positive or negative into the atmosphere. These are wavelengths that have been scientifically proven through EEG Brain scan. Yes, it does state that Samuel was a "Seer," which supposedly was as common as the term prophet but was only used in the positive sense during Samuel's time. After this it seems the term seer took on a more sinister meaning. One seen by God as a "Negative" versus a positive position. Could be the people of God had turned to idol worship and were seeking advisory and counsel elsewhere besides the One True God. Read again about King Saul's final demise 1 Sam. 28:6-25 when King Saul sought counsel from the Witch of Endor.

The masculine form (sorcerer) is [mekhashef]
Other mystics that appear in the bible (Deuteronomy 18) are (masculine forms):
1)[kosem]- magician, sorcerer. This word is used in Modern Hebrew (fem. form: kosemet).
2) [me'onen]- astrologer. Not used in Modern Hebrew, only ancient.
3) [menachesh]- a fortune teller that "guesses" (this is where the word comes from). False predictions.

When God's holy people began to worship other gods and rebel against Yaweh, they were compared to a Harlot or prostitute as this was prostitution in God's eyes. Have you ever wondered where the heinous pagan worship rituals of the Druids originated? As it turns out it goes way back to Nimrod, who built Babel or Babylon. If you read Zechariah 5:1-11; regarding a woman of wickedness, inside a woven basket, or ephad which has a cast led weight on its opening; delivered where the End Time Temple is to be rebuilt. verse 11 says; "To build a temple for her (wickedness) in the land of Shinar; and when it is prepared, she will be set there on her own pedestal." Satan stems from the Land of Shinar. For more on this I encourage you to read Isaiah Chapter 44; Isaiah 48 and 49; as well as Daniel chapters 7 through 12. AND THE BOOK OF ZECHARIAH.

Are you saying that cain killed his brother in order to eat him? I always took the goats to be the false prophets followers and even the false prophets themselves.They could also include those who cannot see or hear the word of God wheather they be among the shepherds herd of sheep or not.
Of course it's an allegory protraying those who are not Christ's followers.
Goats are said to eat grass even to the roots ,so the grass cannot recover from it's grasing,whereas a sheep does not do that,but leaves the root to regenerate.Just as King David came from the root of Jesus Christ,so too do the followers of Jesus Christ come from the root of knowledge that Jesus Christ left his followers.

Sounds like a lot of the Church you speak of today.
As you rightly point out the root of much of this is 'syncretism', the adoption or incorporation of foreign doctrine into Christianity. Ther church is rife with this garbage, often because it has discarded the old Testament and divorced Christianity from its hebraic roots.
I mention the parallel between God and his Church, and husband and wife in my short series, 'God Created Sex'. No wonder God equates idolatry with adultery.
