My record for setting up a WrodPress blog is 3 hours: turkeyjerkyentertainment.com. This included: creating my own design for the WordPress template, uploading the files to my hosting account, SEO optimizing the blog—meta title, description, keyword, image SEO and so on, changing the html of the template a little, creating about page, setting up Google Ads on the blog, and posting two blog posts with videos and one picture.

I bought the domain a few months ago, but if I had to register it now it wouldn’t take a few minutes more. I’m sure my record for this kind of work can be broken or was broken, but it’s my record.

If you are an experienced blogger slash writer, the things I did might be a walk in the park for you. I’d say the custom design of the template, especially the header, is the tricky part. The header tells a lot about the blog along with the title. I had the idea in my head already and this may be cheating on my side.

The funniest part of it was the first Google Adsense ads that offered smoked salmon and turkey links, instead of Lakers gear and Fawlty Towers DVD's. Anyway, let me know if you think a did a good job for such a short time, and I accept criticism.
