The 2001 comedy film 'How High' starred two characters Method Man and Redman. This feature film was a first effort from director Jesse Dylan, and was penned by Dustin Lee Abraham.

The story is centered around two looser pot-heads - Silas P. Silas (Method Man) and Jamal King (Redman). When Method Man's friend Ivory (played by Chuck Davis) passes, Silas uses his cremated ashes as fertilizer for what else?...a new batch of marijuana.

Next, while the two pot-smokers are hanging out in the parking lot, before undergoing their THC ( which is short for 'Testing for Higher Credentials, as opposed to SAT) entrance exams for college, neither is capable of igniting their individual marijuana stash without the aid of the other.

They rapidly discover that smoking Silas' new stash of weed calls forth the ghost of the newly deceased Ivory. Ivory provides them the correct test answers and both of boys pass with no less than perfect scores.

A number of questionable colleges offer the toke-heads scholarships, but none of them are quite right for the pair. Eventually, Chancellor Huntley (Fred Willard) tells the two submit an application to Harvard University.

After being accepted at Harvard, the boys continue using the Ivory-laden weed to score big time at the university. They meet up with a number of quirky students like Tuan - an Asian geek, Bart (Chris Elwood) - a snotty rowing team leader, and Jeffrey (Justin Urich) - their 'roomy' who is compelled to perform typically humiliating acts as fraternity initiation.

The "Ivory" bush is then stolen by the nerdy Gerald (T.J. Thyne), who plays a nerdy security guard, and who then smokes all of the magic pot, except for a few small leaves.

Ivory is now gone. As a result, the pot-boys are forced to try actually studying to avoid being booted out of college, but it doesn't work out any better.

. Silas puts together a "truth serum" employing the remnants of "Ivory" in an desperate attempt to get a passing grade in his botany studies.

In the end, no less than the great Benjamin Franklin (whose bong was dug up by Lauren) appears back with Ivory at an college alumni meeting and convinces those present that Silas and Jamal should indeed remain at the great learning institution.
