The internet has been so useful to my life in terms of earnign good income so that i do not feel about quitting my day job.

What you should do here is to write an article and redirect traffic to your hub. or better still, start a free blog with blogger, fill it with some articles and post at least one article every three days, then write an article and submit with you blog link to article directories.
• You can also work as a freelancer. Helping people to do what they can't do and getting paid for it.

A combinaiton of these and lots more will cause a inflow of some dollars into your pocket on a regular basis.
