I've been married to the same man and have only been with one man all my life. We've been married almost 18 years. Eighteen loooooooong years.

Like alot of couples, we fight. We even bring up the D word now and then. But I have to admit, he can be really sweet.

One time when we were on vacation at the beach, he slid down a steep embankment down to the beach and hauled on his back this huge piece of driftwood for me. This thing was as big as he is and very heavy. Whenever I feel like I hate him, I remember that driftwood.

Another time, I was nagging him for about a year, (yes, a YEAR) to fix a tile in the bathroom that had fallen out. Finally, one day while I was gone, he replaced the tile and gave me the old one. He had taken a Dremel and drilled the words "I love you" in the old tile. Now, isn't that sweet?

Recently we had a fight before I left for work. He was being a jerk. So later, he shows up at my work with a dozen roses and he tells me he went to Strange's Florist and asked the lady if she had any "jerk flowers". Too cute!
