What Is PLR?

PLR stands for Private Label Rights which gives you the right to use other people's works as if they were your own. This means you can usually resell the product as your own, give it away as you choose or rewrite the content and change the author's name to yours.

What Are The Advantages of Using PLR?

The advantages of using PLR content is that it is quicker and easier than writing it yourself. Some of us have an easy time when it comes to writing, but most of us struggle with putting our ideas down on paper. Not everyone is the Edgar Allen Poe of the literary world.

  • PLR content is written by professional writers so they are of good quality.
  • All the research is done for you already.
  • They are affordable because they are sold in quantity.
  • The time it takes to put it all together is already done for you.
  • There are a wide range of products available.

How Does This Make You Money?

Selling other people's products can make you an income, but only a certain percentage of what you sell is yours to keep. If you buy the rights to resell the same products, then 100% of the money is yours to keep. See the difference?

Some PLR products come with Master Resell Rights, which means that you can practically use them in any way you want. Give them away to build an opt-in list, repackage them to suite your needs, sell them individually or resell the entire package as it is. Remember to check the resell rights page of any PLR content before reselling them.

Most also come with ready made sales pages and websites that make it even easier and quicker to get up and running, even for a beginner. All that is needed is to purchase a domain name and have webhosting and you are on your way!
