1.   Again, David gathered together all the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand.

 2.  And David arose, and went with all the people that were with him from  Baale of Judah, to bring up from thence the ark of God, whose name is called by the name of the Lord of hosts that dwelleth between the Cherubims.

 3.  And they set the ark of God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was in Gibeah: and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drave the new cart.

 4.  And they brought it out of the house of Abinadab which was at Gibeah, accompanying the ark of God: and Ahio went before the ark.

 5.  And David and all the house of Israel played before the Lord on all manner of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals.

 6.  And when they came to Nachon's threshingfloor, Uzzah  put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it.

 7.  And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzzah;  and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.

 8.  And David was displeased, because the Lord had made a breach upon Uzzah: (U some) and he called the name of the place Perezuzzah to this day.

 9.  And David was afraid of the Lord that day, and said, How shall the ark of the Lord come to me?

 10.  So David would not remove the ark of the Lord unto him into the city of David: but David carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite.

 11.  And the ark of the Lord continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months: and the Lord blessed Obededom, and all his household.

 

 

 

 

 

What do you do when you have fallen so far away from the Lord; all hell has broken loose on you and around you? What do you do when nothing is going right for you, and your prayers are not being answer? What do you do when God seem so far away, and the relationship that you once had with the Lord is strain? What do you do?

God through His Word will give us the answer. God’s Word will show us how we, as a nation no longer seek Him. In addition, how His presence is no longer with us as a nation and as individuals. In this teaching, we will learn what it takes to get out of a backslidden condition as individuals and as a nation. We will learn through the reading of the Word of God that there is hope for a nation to come out of apostasy. This can only happen when each of us as an individual decides to change or repent before the Lord from not doing what is require through God’s Holy Writ.

We must as a body of believers, come to a realization, before it is too late, there is more to our prosperity, then paying tithes. If our country is in a recession it is because as a whole, we believers and unbelievers have not stop the death of innocent blood, we as a nation have gotten comfortable in our misery. There is right now a falling away from the church; the falling away is not something that is coming: the falling away is here now.

The Carnal Christians are in most of our mainstream dominations, trying to live the good life and are not vocal enough about the murdering of babies, HIV, AIDS and STD, the baby mama drama, the down low, and the gay pride, remember Satan fell because of his pride. The Carnal Christians are afraid that their ministries will not be popular, they are afraid of persecution within and without of the Church. Lord How Shall the Ark Come to Me?

God’s Word will show us how we, as a nation no longer seek Him. In addition, how His presence is no longer with us as a nation and as individuals, because we have allow the enemy of the soul the ability to trick us in to giving up our birthright as children of God. In this teaching, we will learn what it takes to get out of a backslidden condition as individuals and as a nation; we will reclaim our birthright as children of God. We will learn through the constant reading of the Word of God that there is hope of a nation coming out of apostasy. This can only happen when each of us as an individual decides to change or repent before the Lord. How shalt the Ark of the Lord come to me?

If we as a body of believer do not seek to take a more active part, in the political arena soon, we will see in the next five years, the economy going further down in our country. Your paying tithes will not bring the blessing that you seek, because it is obedience as a country, as a church that God’s presence will return to us. We as believers must take a stand, no type of stimulus plan will ever repay for the deaths of the innocent in our country, and there must be a new way of thinking, or how shalt the Ark of the Lord come to me?

6. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

7. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

8. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

9. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Silence is golden, but it is also permissive, if I am not speaking against this on slaughter of innocent babies then I am for it. I will not condemn myself by what I approve before the Lord Jesus Christ.

A Carnal Christian is a believer that is still under the control of his old sinful nature. He or she is a person that cares what others think, and does not want to ruffle the edges in fear of never, getting anywhere in the ministry. However, this Christians fail to understand, as long as we continue to allow babies to be murder, God will ruffle our edges through our finances, and turn a death ear to our prayers. If the Carnal Christians of our country continues to be, slack in keeping this New Covenant we have in Jesus Christ our country will see more devastation.

40 million deaths from the killing of the fetus in the womb of women across this nation and Canada must be judge. Generations of people have die, because the Law was change on the cause of Roe versus Wade. Homosexual conduct is now on the rise, they want to marry; divorce rate is high even in the church. Men and women are surgically changing their sex and they look freaky. The way God created me is wrong, is what Satan brands into their minds. God made a mistake, is what they are saying when they surgically try to change their gender.

God did not bless other nations who were practicing these types of sins, and God will pull His presence from this country in the years to come, if the Body of Christ do not start taking a militant stand, against the death of the unborn, and quit trying to please everybody doctrine for money.

It is through the expressing of how we feel and not voting for individual’s who support the murdering of the innocent will be how we get this country back on track, these view point of mine, includes President Obama. We should not even purchase products from companies that support this type of modern Baal worship.

The result was fugitive, homeless and unemployment, plus God sent Cain to land of Nod, Nod meaning trembling.

16. And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.

Because the midwives fear God and refuse to obey a cruel law, God bless them with houses.

Remember in my last teaching Lord I Need a Touch, Household Salvation; we saw how Eli sons through their disobedience cause a whole nation to lose in a battle with the Philistine, even with the Ark there. Remember the Ark represents the presence of the Lord being amongst His people. However, be cause of the sins of leadership in the church, when the people of God went into battle they found that even with the Ark, God was not with them. With out the protection of the Lord, which is His presence, the Philistines were able to get the victory in battle.

The sad part to all of this, the people did not even care the Ark had not been with them for over 20 years.

Psalms 91

1. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

The Bible tells us that in the last days, there would be a falling away. I do not believe the church really understands what the Bible is saying when it is talking about a falling away from the faith. Most people really do not comprehend what the word Faith means. Faith is not getting what you want and still walking with God. Read Hebrews chapter 11 and 12. Some died in faith not getting to see the manifestation of their prayers, but the Bible states that they die in faith.

The Bible starts out telling us in this portion of scriptures that David had mobilized thirty thousand troops and had led them to Baal-judah (Lord of Judah), in order to bring the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem (house of Bread) but something happen, they were not able to bring the Ark back.

What is an Ark?

The Ark or some call it the Ark of the Covenant; it was a container for the stone tablets called the Ten Commandments to be place. The agreement between Israel and God constantly kept there, because the Words of the agreement were sacred. This was a wandering wilderness sanctuary, like a church on wheels, which symbolized the presence of God being with His people Israel.

The Ark beginning goes all the way back to Moses at Mount Sinai. The Bible tells us that it was during Moses, first sojourn at Sinai, the Ark was constructed; however, it was not until all designated requirements of the furnishings of the inside of the Ark, with all stipulations communicated to the people, completed, that the outside of the Ark was then constructed.

God being the same yesterday, today, and forever, we see and understand through the Word, how God build things. God does not do construction work the way man does. Man does his construction work opposite from God. God builds from the inside out and man builds from the outside in. It is not until the lighting, wiring, plumbing, and dry wall is up and painted, before man sends for the interior designers to decide how to decorate the inside of the building. God is different, he requires that the inside furniture is constructed, long before the cement is pour for the foundation of the building to be erected.

Man judges a person by clothes, house, cars, and physical appearance, but God looks at the heart. This is why the divorce rate is so high; people look at the outward appearance and do not take the time to get to know the spirit of a man or a woman. God is more concern with your soul. He sees and knows your material wants and desires, but He knows that only what you cannot see is eternal, you are dissolving and the things around you are dissolving. God is therefore more concern with your character, your heart issues, and not so much with your wealth. He said in His Word that he would supply your needs, not your lust.

3. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

4. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

God Works From The Inside Out

God work in the same way with a man or a woman, who has given their life to Him, He builds and designs their character first, before He bless them with the outward stuff. This is why some are financially bless in the Body of Christ more then others when it comes to the physical material things. God is still building the furniture in some of the people and cannot give them more until they either learn how to appreciate Him. God is teaching them how to give praise to Him without trying to get something from Him, as we will learn in this portion of scriptures.

This is just like God to decorate the inside of where ever He plans to reside at first. We are the Ark we are the place, the box, the container that He lives in. God will not dwell in an unclean vessel; we are the mobile Ark of the Covenant that moves amongst the wilderness of this world.

I Corinthian 3:16 King James Version

16. Know ye not, that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwell in you?

17. If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy: for the temple of God is holy, which temple are ye?

In addition, just like God places stipulation on how He wanted the furnishing of Ark to be, God through the Word has given us stipulation on how He wants the furniture of our individual characters. It is not until inner construction is fulfill, when we begin to see the manifestations of the adoring and decorating of our bodies, with clothes, cars, houses and ministries being constructed. That is why if you will notice that people start being bless after salvation financially, who was never blesses that way before. Moreover, those who have a lot of money at first towards the end, lose all, because prosperity always works from the inside out, even with sinners.

3 John 1:2 King James Version

2. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

After the breaking of the original ten rules of conduct and the golden calf incident, Moses then makes a plain box of acacia wood as a container to house those Ten Laws of God in.

The Ark had left Israel long before Saul became King of Israel, and before David came into office as king. The Ark was with Israel when Eli was Judge, when God rule His people through the prophets. However, because of the backslidden church condition, due to Eli sons, who were spiritual leaders, being corrupt with sin. It is leader ship responsibility, to represent the church, to be a voice against the tearing down of the family, and not get into sexual sin, while they are correcting the sinners.

The Bible tells us that the Ark during a battle with the Philistines had been capture by the Philistine, and returns by the Philistine, and remained with Abinadab for 20 years. (I Samuel 7:1-2) David was the only one that wanted the Ark back with in the country, so David when he became king tries to retrieve the Ark. However, the Ark could not be move because God struck down Uzzah beside the Ark, because they forgot the Laws of God concerning the Ark.

2 Samuel 6:9 King James Version

9. And David, was afraid of the Lord that day, and Said, How shalt the ark of the Lord come to me.

20 years have passed.

The children of Israel have gotten use to being without the presence of the Lord in their lives, and this is happing here in the United States. David anointed king of Israel goes on an aggressive military campaign to rid Israelites of the Philistines, and even without the Ark David, the Bible tells us, is victorious, as God instructs and guides him how to do battle against the Philistines. He does not tell them that they do not consider themselves a Jewish nation; they are just the citizens of the world, because he is afraid, like Obama. David takes a stand in order that the Presence of the Lord will be with Israel again when they battle against the enemies of the Lord.

However, despite the tremendous victories and conquest the Lord has given to David, in David heart is a longing to have a place, where he and his people can worship the Lord. Therefore, David begins the process of restoring worship back to Israel. David aggressively and forcefully goes after the Ark. Who in the United States is going after the Ark?

David has an overwhelming desire to seek the presence of the Lord, but there is a problem with that, he does not know how to bring the Ark back. He is of a new generation, his elders, and parents allow the presence of the Lord to be taken by the Philistines, and noticing the other nations he had conquer having false gods and place to worship, David envied them and, desire for his people like any good ruler, to have a central place of worship.

A new generation of people have come, who do not know the proper ways of getting in touch with God. They have a new way of doing things than their parents or fathers, but what they will find out is God has a certain way of doing things, and it will cost you dearly if you call it old school and decide to change it.

So David goes after the Ark, he goes after the presences of the Lord; he has defeated the enemies of Israel, now he must restore worship. David must give his people a central place where they all can gather and worship the Lord. For 20 years, the people did not worship the Lord, even when David was a Sheppard out in fields alone in the night; he would play his Harp to the Lord as he watch the sheep, he just did what was natural to him. However, because of lack of training from his father, David did not know how to bring the Ark back to the people.

The people who lived within the city walls had lost the Ark, to the Philistine did not miss the Lord. After 20 twenty years forgot the procedures that God had ordain in the caring of the Word of God, which is the Ark. The people wanted a king and they got one Saul. Saul did nothing to bring the people back to God; this is why he went crazy at the end. The desire for the presence of the Lord in the city was not in him or the people that Saul ruled.

They wanted to fit in, the wanted to become citizens of the nations, and forgot about God’s holy things. 20 years later a different generation with different ideals and ways of doing things tries to bring the Ark of the Covenant back to Israel, but their new school of doing things cost a life, Uzzah. Some one had misinterpreted the procedures in handling the Ark!

It was a know fact, back in the day, only the Levites were to touch the Ark and handle the things of the Ark. In Numbers chapter seven shows that Moses had anointed, sanctified and consecrated the entire utensil in the Ark, including the altar. Then the heads the ancestral leaders of each tribe came to bring offerings before the Lord.

The offerings that they brought were six baggage’s wagons or carts and twelve oxen’s with two wagons or carts, per tribal leader. After presenting the gifts, in front of the Ark, Moses gave them to the Levites to use in the service of the Ark. However, the carts or wagons were never to be use to carry the Ark.

The Bible tells us in this portion of scriptures, in Numbers chapter seven, Kohath (Qĕhath keh-hawth') were the only ones not given anything, because their duties was to the tabernacle and the holy things in it. In addition, another one of their responsibilities was to carry the Ark with long poles, on their shoulders, symbolizing how Jesus would carry His Cross to Cavalry.

It is believed that Obed Edom (name means servant of Edom) was of the Leviticus tribe of Kohath.

Tremendous force of men assisted David in the case they came upon the Philistine. These men from all of the tribes made a league with David in Hebron before the Lord: and anointed him King. David was 30 years old when made king, and he reigned for forty years. II Samuel 5:1-2.

Judah David reign seven years six months Jerusalem thirty-three years over all Israel and Judah.

David had a strong desire to be in the presences of the Lord.

Psalm 27:4 King James Version

4. One thing have I desired of the Lord that will I seek after, that I may dwell in house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.

David decided that it was time for the country to get in right relationship with the Lord, and his followers agreed.

Uzzah Dies

Uzzah (self-strong) was from the Leviticus priest hood of Kohath. Nevertheless, to place the Ark in a cover wagon or cart was a hasty and very inconsiderate mistake. Our country with its modern technology, computers, and satellites are self-strong. It is part of the young people philosophy believe in your self and you can make your dreams come true.

Numbers 7:9 King James Version

9. But unto the son of Kohath, he gave none: because the service of the sanctuary belonging unto them was that, they should bear the Ark upon their shoulders.

Uzzah should have made it a point to take the time and read for himself what was requiring way of transporting the Ark, but he did not; some scholars say that he was from the Kohath, which were Levites. However, he depended on someone else instead of reading, and finding out for himself how to move the Ark of the Covenant and he die.

Summary:

If we as Spiritual Christians, set poor examples in the church it will cause the presence of the Lord to depart from this country and us. We are the light, we are the salt of the earth, but if we do not walk a straight and narrow, road with the Lord we will cause this nation as a whole to crumble. I must write about, unfair death of millions of little babies, I must be a voice for the unborn. I have walk many miles to proclaim, my stand against this ungodly act of man against man for over 30 years, if you look closer at my picture, the badge I am wearing is an anti-abortion slogan. If you have had an abortion, Jesus loves you and forgives you.

Do You Know Him?

God wants you to know that you cannot save yourself. As the Israelites when fighting against the Philistine, could not win, you cannot either, without a Savor, the Word made flesh, came to save and deliver you from your Philistines enemies. The power is in the Word of God not in you, self-strong die beside the Ark.

(Romans 3:23)

“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

Remember the glory of the Lord left them, because they had no Savior blood to apply to their sins. In addition, they did not obey the Lords Word.

Acceptance or refusal determines your destiny.

“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life; and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”

21. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

There is nothing you can do that Jesus will not forgive you for. He loves you and so do I.

Prayer

Say after me, Lord Jesus I am in need of a Savior, forgive me of all of my sins and wash me with your blood. Please come into my heart. If you have said that, write me in my comment box. Tell some one that you have accepted Jesus, for confession made unto salvation.
