Blogging, tagging and bookmarking are all crucial components of Web 2.0, the result can take your online business business or affiliate program to the next level.

One of the keys for success is interaction, connecting, establishing your site as an authority and you do that by publishing regularly on a specific topic.

Authority sites are those with tight inbound to outbound link ratios, sites that have hundreds of times more links going in than actually going out.

The more you stick to a specific topic, the greater your chance in developing a successful site/blog as your readership/community base increases.

As your community grows, ultimately the power of networking takes over and your time is leveraged.

People naturally help promote your blog/site through bookmarking and social media which is far better result than SEO for sustainable targeted traffic.

To answer your question, may I ask what are you doing to get more traffic?

Firstly after each post, you can quickly and easily share your new hubpage content using the built-in bookmarking buttons at the bottom of post where it says "share it".

Digg, del.icio.us, Technorati, StumbleUpon, Newsvine and Simpy...

These social networking and bookmarking sites are useful for connecting to other online communities.

It makes sense for internet users to meet and communicate with each other and your hubpage is basically your online blog...

So you could use your hubpage which is a social networking site to promote your blog...

You can share your thoughts, you could also drive traffic and make money from your blog.

You can signup for ebay, amazon and google adsense affiliate programs to promote other products and programs.

Now there are many pros/cons to going down this path, I'll cover that in another article if you want more info, just ask.

Anyway, if you're using your blog to make money then you'll defiantly want to promote it.

When it comes to promoting blogs, there are many blog owners who decide to let the search engine do the work for them.

Search engines, such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN use special techniques that reads the content on your website.

That content is then used to rank your website with particular keywords.

This means you're going to be waiting for results...maybe weeks, months and dare I say...even years.

For example: You decide to do a blog on living longer.

Maybe your blog shows up in searches done on "Living Longer".

Lots of blogs are successfully ranked in search engines, but not all are.

That's why you'd be wise and smart to not rely solely on search engines, when it comes to promoting your blog or website.

The individuals you talk to in your community are more than likely the people you may wish to target.

Since most social networking websites work to connect internet users who have the same goals and common interests...

Just maybe your online friends enjoy reading your living longer blog because it's a good match to their needs.

But, before they can read your blog, you have to let them know it exists.

When it comes to promoting your blog on social networking websites, you have a number of different options:

You can include a link to your living longer blog in your community profile or your personal profile page.

You can join their forum where other community members can checkout your living longer blog.

The other way is to tell your online friends of your living longer blog through private messages and of course social bookmarking sites.

Once you join a social networking or bookmarking site you should easily be able to communicate and connect with other people and friends.

Hint: Send a private message with information and a link to your living longer blog is more effective than placing a link in your profile page.

There are hundreds of popular social networking sites.

For example: Hubpages, MySpace, Facebook, FriendFinder, Yahoo! 360, and Orkut.

Before becoming a community member at one of these networking sites, you may want to check out the site to make sure its everything you want it to be.

No doubt there are a number of different ways you can go about promoting your hubpage using online social networking and bookmarking sites.

Want to start getting massive traffic to your blog or sites, then your solution is right here!
