How TO Get Rid Of Pet Hair

Shedding Pets
I'm sure that most any pet owner will tell you that keeping up with all the pet hair can be quite a challange. But there are a few tricks and tips that can make the situation a little more bearable. This article will cover several different ways that you can use to keep your home free from pet hair.
Using The Furminator
The Furminator
Probably the best tool that you can use in your battle against pet hair is the furminator. The furminator is a de-shedding tool that removes your pets dead undercoat, which is the main cause of shedding.
If you've never used a furninator you're going to be amazed at the amount of hair it removes. When using the furminator be sure to use short gentle strokes and your pet will soon grow to love their grooming sessions.
After the grooming session is over just take a damp paper towel and wipe down your pet to remove any left over loose hair.
Pet Hair On Furniture
There are several different methods that work well for removing pet hair from furniture and upholstery. One is to put on a pair of damp latex gloves and run your hands over the furniture and the gloves will easily attract the pet hair.
If you don't have any latex gloves around try blowing up a balloon and rubbing it over the pet hair. The static in the balloon will attract the hair which can then be easily removed for you to reuse the balloon.
Sticky lint rollers and masking tape are also good ways to remove stray pet hair.
Another good product for removing pet hair from furniture and upholstery is The Pledge Fabric Sweeper from SG Johnson. It really does an excellent job of removing pet hair. My only complaint with the product is that it was designed to be disposable,
who can afford to pay for something that depending on how much pet hair you have in your home may only be used one time! Luckily it's not all that hard to take apart the roller so that you can empty the hair and reuse it, I've had mine for about six months now and it's still working.

I agree cat hair is the worst! But your cats are really cute.
Cat is the worst! My cat mister sheds all over the place. I usually use Fur-Zoff to get rid of it. It works grat and i like it better then most methods becuase it's a "green" product made of recylced materials and lasts forever. I feel a lot better using it instead of those sticky lint roller or other things cause you have to throw them away. You can find it at http://www.FurZoff.net. I hope this helps! thanks again!
