Try the diet a few weeks, write everything you eat and drink down. When you are done, analyze the results. Check your weight and see if you have actually reduced weight.

If your weight is going down, everything is going in the right direction. If not, you have to make some adjustments. Try to understand exactly what went wrong. Correct this.
