If you want to take a step above the rest on the internet, then you most definitely want an "Authority Site" because once you achieve this, your site will be top ranking and a reference point to other sites.

Authority sites get a lot of traffic and a lot of traffic can make or break a website.

Each page is about one and only one subject surrounding the word "dog".

A dog website is a one stop shop. You can go there to find out everything you need about dogs, caring, training and looking after them.

That is how you build your site. Write your all generalising landing page the front page of your site and then set about writing pages on each individual subject.

The best way to do this is to have a plan. Write down, research and find out every single subject variation about your chosen theme of your site.

Now that you have your site url with your keyword in the url, your front page describing your keyword backed up by many internal pages on each individual variation of your keyword, you are one step there.

At present I use software to spin an article. I take the coded spin article (seed article) put it into article submission software and activate the submission. The software is presently submitting each unique article to 697, thats six hundred and ninety seven article directories without fault.

This means I have for each article pointing to my post on my site, 1394 - thirteen hundred and ninety four one way backlinks to my site and the individual page.

Now if I take the rss feeds from the article directory and social bookmark them etc, my links are now increasing exponentially.

With each post I social bookmark just as you would with any other page.

You can do this manually. What your aim is, for other websites to pick up and reproduce your article on their website.

There is your one way back link from like themed on topic websites.
