This frustration with constant downloading of music video made me spend many sleepless night looking for a solution. A software program that could record all the broadband streaming videos that I watched onto my computer hard drive
The real question is...Can you really capture streaming video directly from the websites?
Let me give you a bit of an introduction to broadband streaming videos.
When talking about broadband streaming, the phrases 'downloading streaming video', 'recording streaming video', 'saving streaming video', 'capturing streaming video' each indicates the same way of capturing the streamed image on a disk drive in a data format that permits you to play it back time and again.
Broadband streamed videos like live streaming video, streaming news video, streaming movies, streaming music videos can be captured, recorded, downloaded with special software like Replay AV):
What exactly is broadband streaming videos?
streaming videos or audio is moving images, like on television or sound (as on the radio) sent out over the Internet via an internet connection.
Why is it called "streaming"?
It's known as "streaming" because the sound and picture data flow in a digital stream, like a river, from a server straight to your computer, ready to for your viewing pleasure in real time, without having to download the total content before you can enjoy it.
It comes to you in byte size digital bits... hence the term "streaming videos."
Which types of streaming video are there?
Here are three main streaming media companies (and their respective media streams):
* Real Networks - Real Media
* Microsoft - Windows media
* Apple: Quicktime
Each of them provide streaming media players for for both windows and mac users. All three also provide "introductory" free streaming video player and optional "pro" players that offer extra features - at added cost. The three media player types vary in cross player compatibility.
Can you record streaming internet video and streaming audio?
Absolutely...If you know how. You can use special software to capture Windows Media Streams and Real Video/Audio Streams, like download manager HiDownload.

There are two ways in which you can capture streaming video from the web to your PC.One are the downloaders, softwares that offer you the option to download the video you are watching on your browser directly to your hard drive. The second are the video capture applications which allow you to select the part of the screen you want to record and grab the video from there. Tha main advantage of the video capture applications is that they can record DRM protected content.I use a video capture app called 1AVCapture to capture streaming video and streaming audio to my PC. I like it exactly because it captures video and audio separatedely. But there are many options out there.Here is a link to 1AVCapture:http://www.pcwinsoft.com/1avcapture/Best,Alex
