How can I find a niche that has potential? a tried and tested route for finding profitable niches. This is achieved through online research. Read and determine what people want to buy. Use research tools to see what the most popular searches are on any given subject. Look out for for new trends and movements.

How do I know the niche I have found is profitable? You can tell if a niche is profitable in plenty of ways. You could have discovered a good niche if the terms related to the niche are searched for frequently and that there aren't too many people competing for them on search engines like Google.

This could be explained by the fact that the niche simply is not marketable. There are niches that exist where you have heavy search volumes and a lot of competition. Because of the high level of competition, your product or any niche marketing effort could be clearly profitable or it might fail if it's not top notch and efficiently promoted.

Obscure niches can be located that have no one competing in them. But then again, it can be because there is really no market or the information can be found for free on the web. Testing is the only fool proof way to see if you've found a good niche.

What do I do to test my niche correctly? A hypothetical product could be pitched or created which you can then go on discussion boards and ask questions about. The people that read your thread can be used to gauge exactly how people are responding to your idea by polling them if the internet marketing discussion boards will let you do that.

Before launching a product, do a pre-launch as this will show you how people are responding. Low cost or even free marketing solutions can be used to test the waters if you are thinking about promoting products through niche affiliate marketing programs.

There isn't really a "best" way to promote to a niche so the question 'What is the best way to make money with niche marketing?' is difficult to answer. Some people will find that for their niche, budget and/or capabilities, a blog will be more profitable for their niche.

Setting up a newsletter may be considered by some while launching a small report or a full on e-book or video series may be considered by others for their niche. Niche marketing can be very profitable by using many different methods so to name one method as the best is extremely hard.

When done right, it is very easy to do niche marketing. You will be way ahead of the game if you did accurate research and adequate testing and use many good methods to promote them.
