1. Get a flat basin. Fill it with hot water at least one inch deep or as long as the silver jewelry you are cleaning is totally submerged.
2. Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 teaspoon powdered detergent, and 1 teaspoon coarse salt.
3. Mix the solution well.
4. Then add your jewelry.
5. Let is stand within 24 hours for effective cleaning.
6. Pat dry your jewelry (Do not 'wipe').
7. Do not scratch or expose your silver jewelry to direct sunlight to avoid tarnising.

This jewelry cleaning method is best for silver jewelries that is at least 90% pure silver. You can also do this with other types of silver ware.
