  1. Get a flat basin. Fill it with hot water at least one inch deep or as long as the silver jewelry you are cleaning is totally submerged.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 teaspoon powdered detergent, and 1 teaspoon coarse salt.
