How To Cook Salmon - Baked Salmon Recipes

There are lots of people around the world love to eat salmon. Unfortunately, not all of them know how to cook salmon and simply ran out of ideas or recipes to bring their favorite fish to the table for a lovely meal.

To tell you, I'm also one of the many who just really loves salmon. It's one of my favorite seafoods simple because of it's very nutritional content like Vitamin A, B and D and salmon is also a natural source of omega-3 which is very essential for brain development. So if you want to prevent heart disease, high blood pressure, arthritis or depression, you should start cooking and eating salmon now.

As a salmon lover, I've created this blog where I can post the salmon recipies I've cooked in the past and all other that I'll be cooking in the future. I like hunting salmon receipes from books, magazines and online. So for now, let me share with you these two yummy baked salmon recipes. Hope you'll enjoy 'em.

Baked Salmon Recipes: BAKED SALMON

Ingredients:

2 cloves garlic, minced 6 tbl. light olive oil 1 tsp. dried basil 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. ground black pepper 1 tbl. lemon juice 1 tbl. fresh parsley, chopped 2 (6 ounce) Wild Salmon Dinner Fillets

Procedures:

In a medium glass bowl, prepare marinade by mixing garlic, light olive il, basil, salt, pepper, lemon juice and parsley. Place salmon fillets in a medium glass baking dish, and cover with the marinade. Marinate in the refrigerator for about 1 hour, turning occasionally.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place fillets in aluminum foil, cover with marinade, and seal. Place sealed salmon in the glass dish, and bake 35 to 45 minutes, until easily flaked with a fork.

Baked Salmon Recipes: BAKED SALMON IN SOUR CREAM

Ingredients:

2 pounds of salmon fillets 3/4 cup sour cream salt and pepper to taste 1/3 cup mayonnaise 2 tbl. all-purpose flour 2 tbl. lemon juice 1/4 tsp. dill weed paprika 8 oz. cream cheese 1 clove fresh garlic (pressed) 1/3 cup white wine

Procedures:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a 9x13" baking pan. Arrange fillets in pan in a single layer. Blend sour cream, mayonnaise, flour, lemon juice, dill, cream cheese, garlic and wine with a whisk. Spread mixture over salmon fillets. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika (to taste). Bake, uncovered for approximately 15 minutes or until fish flakes when checked with a fork. Makes about 4 servings.
