Getting results from your web building efforts

There is a thing about we humans: we love to create. But not only that - - we love to have an effect... to cause an effect.

Many of us see the thousands of web sites pouring daily on to the world wide web, and wonder: "How do they do that?" "How did they all appear so quickly?"

You know something? It's not really that hard to create a web site. Especially to build a mini web site. That's one with only 2 or 3 web pages. I know, you've heard that it takes a knowledge of the programming languages: HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML or Javascript. But today's software is usually WYSIWYG or highly visual, and you'll find yourself creating a web site that you can see, right before your very eyes, developing and evolving in an interface much more like a good word processor. Just like creating a document in Microsoft Word. The program creates all the HTML code in the background for you, automatically!

Take it from me. I'm a webmaster from Perth in Western Australia and I'm responsible for handling 75,000 web pages at any one moment in time. Did I write all those web pages manually? Not on your nelly. Never. I generated most of them using highly specialized software and after painstakingly editing some highly optimized web page templates. I say 'optimized' here, to mean carefully prepared for better performance in search engine rankings, with a focus on scoring well in Big Google.

So you're after some good quality web site building tutorials?

Sure, there are free web design tutorials on how to design your own mini-sites, but none of them will tell you how to actually make them profitable. This course will not only cover the basics of actually creating your sites, but then it will teach you how to build a real business out of those sites. There's a world of difference there. Remember our human desire for causing an effect?

There are lots of tricks and techniques to be gained from hard experience, and Michael Rasmussen from USA has agreed to share his methods with you in a video series that's just been released. I like this one a lot.

There are two levels of Michael's video trainings. The first level is totally aequate and I'd say just go for that one! We can get everything we need online at no charge and that's why I want you to visit my blog link just below, to seize that free video-based training now, with my compliments. You'll be happy you took a sneak peek today into the wonderful world of website building!

i love hubpages as a mini site building medium or tool, with great similarity to Squidoo although the latter has too many diverting ads and 'similar sites' that would draw most of your visitors away. Hubpages is a bit better in my opinion. Geoff
