Drawing A Scary Looking Demon

Here is another hubpage about drawing a demon, but in this one I want to go through how to draw a scary looking demon, which if you compare to the other hubpage article Drawing a Demon that one looks rather tame compared to this demon we are going to create.

I have done three videos showing the demons head working through sketches and a fourth one will follow with inking the demons head, what I hope to do is update this hubpage over a short period of time and show you how to draw a full demon, with lots of possible variations of demonic design, which is something that will break up the way I have always published these things with photos of my drawings.

First off in the first video I go through some idea sketching to pick a demons head to work on and this process went pretty well and was fairly straight forward, but as explained in the video, you might want to do more ideas than just 4 on a sheet of A4, actually I'd encourage you to do more idea sketching to build up some good variations and future possible designs.

You can see the full video playlist of me drawing this scary demon face here - Scary Demon Drawing Videos

Here is the first video for sketching some demonic ideas.

Demonic Head Sketch Ideas Video

Step One: Establishing Your Demons Head

In this video, following on from the first few draft sketches I have selected the best demon head design out of the draft sketches to develop further and in this particular video I sketch the demons head lightly to get a sense of the subject of dark evil and I suppose it is quite scary.

Demon Head Sketch Chosen And The Drawing Begins

Step Two: Shading The Demons Head

In this next video I go through a quick overview of what will need to be shaded to show where a light source could come from and to show what the typical dark areas could be, this is where the demonic head becomes more darker and shows up alot better on camera.

Darkening The Demons Face To Create A Light Source

Here Are The Final Two Videos Of Our Demon Face

These are the last two videos of the scary demon drawing and coming next on this hubpage, how to draw a demonic body from scratch which might be cool!!! so look out for this coming soon!

Whew! At last I added a picture I drew with a mouse, to a hub of mine! Was not too difficult, just three faces in three different colors! It was about hair, and was part of the Hub Challenge. (Gave up the challenge with only 14 completed!) Gonna put in more pix in my hubs! ... If nobody protests, LOL!

Cheers Quicksand!!

Adding your own pictures and drawings sounds great and they would be unique too and something that hasn't been used many times all over the internet(although others may use it when they find it in Google images!)

Also your own pictures and drawings just adds to your writing on a personal level and it brands your name too.
