The Need For Speed

So you want to drive fast? I can't blame you racing is in my blood. My dads family owned a race track and as a kid I would watch and of course drool as the cars sped by. To get my need for speed as a teen I would go off road and race on narrow trails as fast as I could. My brother and I actually ripped the tires off of the rims on our souped up VW Baja bug while going around a corner. We thrashed a few vehicals this way and these are memory that will live on forever. On the road I played if fairly cool, but after only a couple speeding tickets I learned my lesson. Still I love to hit curves as hard as I can, especially when I am going uphill. Now I ride a motorcycle and things seem much faster than in a car. I don't push it too much. In fact I am kinda mello. There is a race track in Vancouver where you can learn to race motorcycles. They tape your bike up so the windscreen or mirrors don't become missles if you wipe out, and inevitably one person from every class does have a major wipeout.

If you want to learn to drive fast I suggest keeping it on the track. Offroading on a narrow seems faster and is another route to try. If you live in the desert than you can go all out; Check out el mirage land racing.

You can experience the thrill of the race without the danger through video games; Just remember when you hit the real road there are consequences.

In Canada they have introduced street racing legislation where you can loose your license for life. A little old lady is already challanging the new laws after being busted for speeding.
