It makes more sense to have the fridge above the freezer, since people use their fridges more often. Fridges on the bottom require lots of stooping to get often-used items. They are stylish and functional, and the fact that the doors require less space to open makes them, prefect for small kitchens. French door fridges like GE French door refrigerators offer double the interior space of side by side models, and offer features like ice and water dispensers that usually aren’t found on a traditional top-freezer. People should know, however, that they are wider than other styles of fridges so they should measure carefully before purchasing one.

Generally speaking, a GE French door refrigerator will cost between $1500 to $2300. GE offers fridges in stainless steel, black, or white finishes. Most of their models come standard with digital controls and electronic temperature sensors. Larger fridges are around 25 cubic feet, but there are smaller models with about 20 cubic feet of space as well.
