Here is a summary of how to get your site ranked in Google for any keyword:
1. Create a blog. If you don't have a blog you can get one at http://www.wordpress.com/ .
Your blog can be about anything but its important to keep it relevant to your specific topic. I would recommend doing some keyword research and locating "long tail" keywords - Example: "Foreclosure property under $200 in Chicago".
2. Your title should contain the keyword or keywords you are trying to promote (traffic exchange, make money, foreclosure properties for under $200)
3. Provide relevant content about your subject in the description. You can esearch websites with similar topics. You don't want to copy or steal their information so rewrite the information in your own words.
4. Link your social networking site "URL" to your blog. Include a link to your website in your blog post.
Your goal is to get backlinks from websites with a Page Rank (PR) of 3 or above. Page Rank is an algorithm that Google uses to determine the relevancy of your website content to the keyword being searched.
Don't stop with just one blog or social networking site. The more relevant pages with backlinks from PR 3 or above site the more traffic you will receive. Focus on creating at least 2-3 pages per week to achieve your desired traffic results.
