How To Use Your Hubpages Profile
64Everyone has a different concept of style and you must do what feels right regarding your Hubpages profile. However, I would suggest making the most of this opportunity to promote your Hubs because this is the one place where you can do so with coming across as overly promotional. For instance, if you have a cafepress or zazzle store, share it with us in your profile page. Lately I have been looking at my Google Analytics and I have learned that changing the frequently changing the hyperlinks on my profile leading to my hubs has resulted in more traffic to those pages. On certain holidays such as Valentine's Day I will link the Hubs I have written on this topic, which makes it easier for readers to find. Here are a few things that I do to optimize traffic to my hubs and personal websites on my Hubpages profile description.
Link To Your Websites And Hubs
Often I see hub profile descriptions where people are linking to their favorite search engines, but how is that helping to bring you traffic? Most Internet users know how to find CNN, Yahoo, and Google, so I would rather use my profile description as a time to promote the hubs I have written and worked on. Besides are you the president, founder, or major writer on a website such as CNN? If so I can understand why someone would link to particular news story to share with the world. However, since I do not write for major news websites I would rather use my precious profile description space for talking about websites where I DO write and contribute. This is the ideal opportunity promote other websites where I write such as ehow, Squidoo, Helium, blogger, and my own website. Remember most people are not going to take an overly promotional hub or forum seriously, so use hubbing for writing about your favorite topics. This means you can use your profile as a specialized place for talking a few website where you may also write or have a business.
Do Not Forget To Include Hyperlinks
Often people will list some of their hubs or links to other website, but they forget to link to these. If there is a non-hyperlinked url then the viewer will have to cut and paste, which will cut down on the possibility of viewing this site. However, if the site is hyperlinked than moving the mouse over it will encourage people to click through. Sometimes you will even have people accidentally clicking through on the hubs and websites hyperlinked on your profile, which has accidentally happened to me quite a few times. Often I discover some great hubs and websites by accidentally clicking on hyperlinked words and links in the hubber's profile description, so do not forget to include these on your profile to maximize traffic to your favorite hubs and websites.

How To Hyperlink Text
I used to find this most difficult when I started writing on hubpages, but after digging around the site I finally figured out how to do this with ease.
Step One: Highlight The Text
Step Two: Click On The Hyperlink Tool
Step 3: Save Changes
Step Four: The Phrase Is Now Hyperlinked

Write About Rather Than List Hubs And Websites
My preference is to write about my hubs and profiles rather than just list these out. I continuously update my profile as I see fit, but writing paragraphs with hyperlinked words and phrases to my hubs and websites is my favorite method to obtaining traffic to my hubs. This is much easier than blogging about your hubs or submitting them to social networking sites such as Digg and Mix. I still do submit my hubs to those sites from time to time, but it is much easier to simply hyperlink key words and phrases in your profile description. Have fun creating a profile page that represents everything you want to be here on Hubpages.

Hi Agvulpes,
This is a photo I took up in the mountains back in 2007, and I really like it because it is next to a little lake up there. To me updating our Hubpage profiles is at least slightly important because it gives us a special opportunity to promote our hubs and special websites. also, I am hoping this hub will encourage those who like to write tons of overly promotional hubs and forum posts to consider making the post of the profile page instead.
We sure could do with some of that nice looking water in Melbourne at the moment.
We still have not had any significant rain this year. Yet the northern parts of Australia are flooded. Sorry to get off subject.
I do agree with you about overly promotional hubs I will not "comment" on them unless I feel the need! I guess you have to know when to draw the line.
Good one, SweetiePie! I'm not sure that I'll edit my profile, but I enjoyed your take on this, anyhow! :-)
Hi Agvulpes,
I do mind you getting of subject, it is fine with me. We often have many dry months here in Southern California and this is actually a man made lake, but in the winter rain and snow helps to replenish it. Sadly a month before this picture was taken the fires in the San Bernardino Mountains had come within 200 feet of this lake a burned down some houses. When I took the picture in December it was cooler and had rained a few times, but only a month earlier there was fire there.
I hope things are getting better for you guys in Australia and some rain comes your way.
I have heard many top hubbers put links to their websites in their profile rather than write promotional hubs, so I hope sharing that with people will help them rethink. However, I think the people who write promotional hubs often do not think things through, and you are good not to comment on their hubs. Usually I do not either because these are very short and boring.
Elena,
I understand not wanting to edit one's profile. I just do this to optimize traffic and view of my hubs, but we must each do what is best for us. Thanks for stopping by and sharing.
Great info sweetiepie thanks for helping us have better hubs profiles .big thumbs up
Great! And hyperlinking - I need to do all these things - you make learning so easy.
Love how you change your picture by the way!
Thanks for this clear, informative, and user friendly hub.
This is great advice thanks - I need to review my own profile page I think when I have time!
Hi Sweetie-Pie,
My profile page has remained unchanged in the seven months I've been here. Everytime I look at my profile photo I think how dreadful it is, and the few garbled sentences I wrote by way of a personal summary could definitely do with updating. These are good suggestions. Thanks for posting.
Very good info SweetiePie. It reminds me that I need to review my profile. I am almost sure that I have not updated it for more than a year!
SweetiePie, very informative hub. Thanks for explaining how to hyperlink!
mulder,
I am sure your Hubpages profile is great, I was only suggesting ways to get more traffic to your hubs. Thanks for reading and stopping by.
BKCreative,
I enjoy hyperlinking and as I said it is the number one to encourage people to visit some of your hubs. They could always scroll down the topics segment on your page, but there is not guarantee people will get that far. I like to encourage new readers on my profile to come to some of my hubs and website without scrolling too far. Thanks for reading and commenting.
Hi Julie,
I am always updating my profile page on a continually basis and I find it entertaining. Often when I cannot think of what to write for a new hub I will simply update my profile.
Hi Amanda,
When I first started writing on Hubpages I noticed my profile description was short, but others had a few paragraphs encourages other Hubbers to visit some of their favorite Hubs. This inspired me to add a few more sentences because it was my golden opportunity to talk about my hubs.
Hi Princessa,
You often update your profile picture I have noticed, so I think you have made changed to the profile.
Aya,
Hyperlinking is my favorite thing to do on my profile and I often see websites listed that are not hyperlinked, so I decided to share how.
Thanks, SweetiePie, your hub made me think. I've probably got the most useless profile in the whole HubPage set up. Click on my name, you'll see!
This serves as a reminder to update our profile pages on any site too and this is something I often do and it seems a constant thing I am always conscious about showing the right links to relevant or useful stuff.
It might prove interesting to also add some of my best hub page links at the top even though they may be listed further down the page...as ever cheers for the insight and reminder Sweets!
Yes, I do change the picture seasonally, what I have not really changed is the text. I've been meaning to do it for a long time, but I never get round to it :(
sweetiepie, I'm still learning, but I think this hub gave me a good boost on the technical hyperlinking aspect. my avatar is always changing, but I think the current one works.
Thank you! I had never realy bothered with my profile much, and not hyperlinking at all, but followed your guide easily.
Teresa,
I do not think your profile is useless. Many people prefer to write less on their profile and others like to write more. I just enjoy being able to write a few descriptive paragraphs with hyperlinked words and phrases to encourage more traffic to my hubs. I also like the way the hyperlinked words stand out in blue in the descriptive paragraphs. I think everyone has a different aesthetic and content ideas regarding profiles though, which is great because it shows the wide variety of hubbers here.
Princessa,
Well your pictures are always fashionable and elegant, so I am sure whenever you decide to update the profile pic it will be great. I really like your current picture with the red jacket though.
Goldentoad,
I am glad you find an avatar that works for you at the present. I always enjoy seeing your many changing pictures as these are always creative.
LondonGirl,
I looked at your updated profile and I really like it. I think the great thing about it is you have shared some of the hubs your care most passionately about, which will allow readers to visit those first.
How very kind! It's all down to you (-:
That Afghan Sikh & Hindu hub I promised on your Kite review hub - I'm working on it!
I look forward to that hub LondonGirl and I am sure we can all learn quite a bit from it.
Thanks for the helpful tips, SweetiePie!!!! Excellent hub!!
Glad you found this helpful Anna. I really like your color of coppery hair in the new avatar.
Thank you, SweetiePie!!! I thought about dying it, but haven't gotten around to it. If I don't, it will be blonde by mid-summer.
Hi Anna,
I like reddish colors and naturally my hair is black with reddish highlights. I had carmel highlight that turned almost blond last summer, so in December I died my hair back down to a reddish black. I noticed it is going more red in some places, but I actually like it. Red is a very nice color.
Hey SweetiePie,
Thanks for the nice tips. These are surely gonna help the upcoming Hubbers. :)
Keep going. Best of luck.
Glad I could help unikaman.
Great hub and the tips are definately helpful to someone like me who is new to hubpages - thanks!
Hi Susan,
I am glad you find this hub helpful.
Great hub, SP! Lots of helpful info for newbies and long timers, alike.
Good information Sweetie Pie. I love the ease of hyper linking here at HubPages, and you are right, it is good to do this to your favorite topics or sites.
Great screen shots showing hubbers how to do this!
Shirley Anders,
I did try to make it helpful for any who were interested in learning how to add hyperlinks to their profile.
Dorsi,
I agree Hubpages makes hyperlinking much easier than other websites. I much prefer the ability to control the layout of our Hubpage profiles in comparison to squidoo and ehow.
I've seen the odd person who has been here for a bit and just never linked. Perhaps it's just by choice.
I agree with you and Dorsi about it is so easy here compared to every other site that I've worked on. You pretty much have to be a CSS pro to use some of them and have your articles look the way you want them to.
Shirley,
Some people that commented here said they did not want to link, so I can understand that. I suppose I just prefer having the links because it allows me to be able to get more views towards certain hubs. There are certain things I like about each site I write on, but one of the bonuses of hubpages is how easy it is to set up a page. My website hosted by web.com makes things easy to set-up, but it is not as easy as hubpages.
Hyperlink tool is not showing in my profile.. do you know why? unable to link the sites..
ya u r right. everybody going to c our profile so this is how we can get the most out of our hubpages profile....
Trmsd,
If you follow the directions in the hub it should work.
affilatesuccess8,
Yes this is true.
after selecting the words.. link is visible and now I have linked my sites..
I am glad it worked Trsmd.
as a new hubber I appreciate all the pointers. thanks.
I am also a new hubber. I am really trying to learn my around here. Thanks to great people like you I am able to get through this learning curve much faster.
I am glad this page could be helpful chloe.
Thank you so much for this info. I will try to follow your directions. - It's hard for us "old dogs" to learn new tricks - LOL
I have been wanting to know how to do this but didn't have the time to figure it out just yet. This is very useful to me. And I am sure many others will appriciate it as well.
Thank you, SweetiePie!
Greetings SweetiePie! Great AND useful article! Thnx a Zillion for pointing out the obvious benefits of regular 'tweeking' some otherwise static info!
PR: wait... I: wait... L: wait... LD: wait... I: wait...wait... Rank: wait... Traffic: wait... Price: wait... I: wait... L: wait... C: wait...
Hi Sweetie Pie - great hub and excellent points. Did you know that you can boost your page rank (PR) by adding relevant text and even some hyperlinks to your profile page? Then, when you link back to other blogs or websites, you can boost the PR there, as well. Great idea for those of us that are looking to boost traffic, etc. on other sites. Best, Stephanie
Wow Sweetie Pie, Wht a concept- hyperlinks in the copy too. I'll alert my webmaster today on this. WE plan to update myprofile page soon.
Cheers,
Judy at bookcoaching.com
very good advice om my way to change my hub now
Hi SweetiePie, this is a great and informative hub. And you explained it so well I am sure it will be easy to follow for those who are still learning about it. :-)
Wonderful job SweetiePie, you have punched out a great write again!
This is very helpful. Now I'd have to do a makeover of my Profile! Or create a new account! LOL thanks for sharing ;D
Studio N,
I am sure you will do just fine. Thanks for reading.
The Real Tomato,
Your screename is simply delicious. I am glad this hub could be of some help.
Hi Sweetie,
thanks for the tips. I didn't know all that. I thought the profile doesn't matter that much. And I think I have given up on earning much on adsense. L.O.L
Btw, I love your profile picture. ;)
YEisHere,
Glad you enjoyed it. PR is very important, good point.
Stephanie,
I had heard posting relevant text and hyperlinks and then linking back on another site helped with traffic, but honestly I need to do more research with PR. It sounds like you could write a very great hubs on the topic of PR.
Great advice. I'm just beginning to see how all this can work. I appreciate this.
wow this is really great information.....you are simply great....you have done amazing work out on hubpages...keep it up and keep sharing....thanx a lot.
Judy,
You are able to update the pages yourself and do not have to have a webmaster do it here at Hubpages. At other sites you may need a webmaster, but not here on your profile.
nukedukemboy,
Thanks for reading and commenting.
Ripplemaker,
That is so nice of you to say. You bring sunshine to every hub :).
C.S. Alexis,
Glad you enjoyed it. I really did spend quite a bit of time on this one, so I am glad it is some what helpful.
CrisA,
Well you can always have more than one account here at Hubpages if you like, or just update you profile when you have time. None of this is mandatory, just a fun way to freshen up our profiles.
sheenarobins,
The profile is a great way to get out news about your favorite hubs and websites, so it is the best of our advantage to hyperlink to these sites. Also, do not give up on adsense and I am sure if you keep at it over time you will earn.
britneydavidson,
Thanks for reading and commenting.
RGraf,
Hope you enjoy updating your profile.
Very good information sounds like you really did your homework.
Thanks for the information, I must admit I'm guilty of putting up a few overly promotional and boring hubs myself, but information like this is really helpful in expanding the horizons of what hubpages and similar sites have to offer.
Thanks again and cheers,
Nando
Oh wow... I didn't know all this. I guess I should work on my style... thanks
thanks for sharing this, its a great help =)
inversu
natecobb,
I am glad you enjoyed it.
AutomatedList,
I think it would be better for you to step away from making so many promotional hubs and try your hand at writing about topics that you have a passion for. Some seasoned hubbers occasionally write hubs with more of a self-promotional slant, but that is only after they have been on hubpages for awhile and had to time to rank well with the search engines. Also, I only bring this up because you commented that you write overly promotional hubs, but the things you are suggesting in those hubs are probably not products most people are going to want to buy. Online writers who write a majority of non-promotional hubs are consistent and research about popular topics. Eventually this hard work can pay off, but I just want to say one can make money online without paying for a product or service that claims to make it easy. It is not easy to make money online and those who decide to go this route should have realistic expectations. It is only a suggestion, but doing research about topics people search for and writing informative hubs about these is a much more productive effort.
foxility,
I am sure your style is great. I was just sharing some things I like to do with my profile. Thanks for commenting and reading.
inversu,
I am glad you stopped by.
Hi Sweetie Pie! I do need to get back to HP! I am busy with blogging, but I love this community and especially people like you. Thank you for a great hub again! Steph
Thanks for the article. I'm a newby at this & found the information very helpful
Rich Johnson
Hi Steph,
I have not written a hub in a few days and have been working on my other websites, so I perfectly understand the need to spend time on other projects. You are one of the great people that helps that maintains high standards here at hubpages, and I always do enjoy your comments and hubs.
richjohnson,
I am glad the information was of help.
Very good Hub w/ easy to follow instructions SweetiePie! Perfect for the beginner Hubber as well as seasoned Hubbers picking up helpful advice and tips!
Excellent hub with excellent info on how to utilize your profile, well done!
I have been wondering about this for ages...how to utilize the Profile page to better effect. Thanks for laying it all out for us! I will employ your suggestions asap! :)
wow, sweetie, i was just wondering abut all this when i bumped into this informative hub - thanx so much
Darlene,
I am glad you found this hub to be informative.
Kappa,
Thanks for commenting.
evenmurphy,
Hope you have fun updating your profile. I love the use of hyperlinks rather than typing out the entire url.
Dolores,
I am glad you were able to get some information about your profile from this hub.
Hey there, I have hub writing 101 type question.. What makes a hub "overly promotional"? Is that a positive or a negative? Also when you are adding hyperlinks in your profile are you linking them to all your various hubs/websites? Right now I have a blog a hub and a website can I follow your directions above to add hyperlinks to each of them? I have a lot of questions! Thanks for you hub..helpful in ways I didn't realize!
I have just written myself a note to study this Hub in detail! This looks like good advice, and easy to follow instructions. Thank you so much.
Cheers for this it is a really useful hub which I feel I should look at again when I have written some more hubs.
ecomama,
A hub is overly promotional if you are repeatedly linking to your own websites and blogs. For instance if you are writing a hub about the Obama administration it would be one thing to link to CNN or BBC, but if you were to write five or six hubs linking to your own political blog the said hubs would be considered overly promotional.
2patricias,
Thanks for reading and stopping by.
BristolBoy,
I am glad you read and stopped by.
With that siad you can add as many links in your profile to your favorite hubs, websites, and blogs. I suggest reading the Hubpages Help section for more idea.
Great one, SP! I'm heading up to my profile to implement what I just learned from you. Thanks so much!
This information was much needed. I am a first time blogger and pretty much going into it blindly. So any information at this point is helpful. Thanks for the great tips.
Great hub. I'm new to all this so thanks for the tips!
Bruce,
I am glad that you learned something here.
Taheshea,
If you have anymore questions feel free to ask.
enlightenup,
Thanks for reading and commenting.
Yawn, oops sorry after all that scrolling down I almost forgot why I came, oh yes to thank you for the wonderful and helpful HUB.
I learned a lot and I will refer to it for a while I am sure.
Thank you *hugs*
Sib
Oooh!! That's sweet! I was wondering why my hubpages weren't getting as many clicks as I thought it would, it's kind of lonely when you write stuff but don't get much people to read what you had to share.. pretty sad.. hahaha thanks for the tips :)
I sure enjoyed this article SweetiePie, thanks a bunch :)
Could you tell me real quickly if my intro/profile is overly promotional? I think it may be a bit pushy :/
I appreciate advice from experts
Thanks!
sibli,
Glad this was useful to you.
Direxmd,
You profile is not overly promotional. Some top hubbers do promote their others websites and business on their hubs, but many of us shy away from the people who claim you can make money without an effort, or those who use the name affliate in their profile. Those types just come across as way too desperate and have wasted a golden opportunity to write informative hubs, or to at least write something that is entertaining. You do not fall in those categories from what I see.
tmonster,
Just be patient and people will come. Also, participating in the forum is a way too meet some new hubbers that will read if they enjoy the topics you write about. I am not as big on the forum these days, but when I started out it was a way to meet a few new people here.
congratulation sweetiepie you have got 100 for this hub....you deserve it.because the hub itself is amazing and with excellent information....keep it up.....
I like your information here, Sweetie Pie. I like how you explained some basics like linking that will help all the newbies out there. I will put your advice to use!
GOod tips, thanks! GOing to revise mine, too :)
Thanks. I went and added my daily blog and my twitter urls to mine.
Agree, this rocks. THanks for the help!
Thanks! Really helpful.
Seems like if i've also got some work to do. hehe My newbieness shows...
I'll get on with my profile real soon. Until then, don't laugh too hard! .. Bah, it is so boring that I don't even think that it's a laughing matter but ;) As we often say in french : "It is better to prevent than to heal!" (or cure)
French version : "Mieux vaut guérir que prévenir"
Thanks a lot!
Dave
A very useful info for a newbie like me:) cheers:)
great hub sweetie pie - I sometimes look at my profile and wonder how I can make it better and you have answered my questions - so thank you - congratulations on reaching 100 for this hub!....cheers
Thanks for your kind words ajcor.
What a terrific and well-written hub! You bring it down to my level. I love how you didn't just tell us what to do--you showed us!!
Thanks, SweetiePie!!
britney,
Thanks for commenting and reading.
wannabewestern,
I tried my best to make it easy because I do not like complicated processes. Glad this worked.
esocial,
Have fun revising your profile because it is your special place to shine.
moonmaiden,
Good to add twitter and your blog because now this will bring you more traffic. I have not added twitter to my profile as of yet, but this is a good idea actually.
DonnaRosa,
I am glad you enjoyed the hub.
David,
I am sure your profile will be great, just take your time. I keep updating my profile constantly, so today it looks different than it did a month ago.
Proud Mom,
I think simplistically when it comes to linking and creating my profile because I have a short attention span and would be rather reading, writing, or watching TV than doing something complicated. This is probably why I never had webpages back in the days when you had to do html and coding. Once I had to build a webpage for a basic computer science class in 1997 and I accomplished this, but it was very tedious and I would not want to do that again. Thank goodness for lovely sites such as hubpages that always use to build a profile and hubs simply.
This is an excellent advice and come to think of it I guess it is high time I updated my profile. You really amaze me with so many prolific wonderful hubs. Thanks for all this information which would be very useful for many of us.
countrywomen,
Thank you for reading and saying this hub can help with your profile. I am sure your profile is great, and you can even highlight more as time goes by. I am single and spend my free time hubbing on my off hours, so being prolific is easy I think :). I really commend the hubbers with children and who work. When do those ladies sleep :).
A very good hub my friend....I am going to update my profile now.
Thanks for the great advice, sweetiepie. Kepp up the good work!
Thanks for the tip.
I'll check to see if I put links or not.
i do not remember.
Great advice Sweetiepie. I enjoyed the hub.
Thanks for this informative and useful Hub! I would be interested in anything else you might have on this topic. I'll be watching for ya!
funnebone,
Nice to hear from you after a long spell. Hope you are having fun hubbing these days.
aherrod,
Thanks for reading aherrod.
Jennifer Bhala,
Hope you have fun checking out your profile.
cblack,
Thanks for commenting.
Just ask if you have any questions about this topic as I do not plan on writing another profile hub in the present. However, if you have questions I will try my best to answer these.
thanks!!!!
Thanks for the info. As a newbie hubber, I need all the advice I can get.
Thanks for the tips SweetiePie...
Good article :) I didn't bother much with the profile page until hubpages redesigned it to include recent/hot/best selections by category. It's now very well worth having a good pice of text (with hyperlinks, as you suggest) to make sure people read down as far as the gallery section. Also a good profile page can attract quite a high Google page rank which is another bonus.
Paraglider,
Last year I decided to revamp my profile when I saw some hubbers did this. Over time I saw that it brought traffic to some of my favorite hubs, and I liked how I could update it as often as I pleased. My google ranking for the word sweetiepie is now on page two of google, which is pretty good since the word sweetiepie is sort of common.
Good stuff SweetiePie! Maybe I should consider having more than a few lines in my profile...
Thanks for a great Hub SweetiePie. I'm new to Hub Pages and I'm finding it fasinating. I'll be sure to get a better profile page put together as soon as I can. Thanks for the advice.
mdvaldosta,
I am glad you enjoyed this. I am sure your profile will be great.
creativecaravan,
I am sure your profile will be great. Thanks for reading.
Thank you for this info. It's an eye opener for me. 5***** My profile sure needs a lot of attention now. Published my 1st page a couple of days ago. So i am taking your good advise.
Well done.
Viryabo
Very good information - I am a big squidoo-er and now I am starting to take more time to update my hubs and make more so I am learning and this was a help.
I am just learning about self promotion and this really helped. I just got around to putting in my picture.
Thank you very much for that article Sweetiepie, there was a couple of things that i didn't consider, and has brought them to my attension.
This is a cool tip, ill try it out and see what the results are
I don't have that many hubs yet, but thanks for the ideas! Looks like I have some editing to do.
Nice Tips Sweetie Pie That would be of great help.. from now on I'll continue updating each of my hubs including my profile..
Thanks for everyone who has stopped by to comment. If you have any more questions just ask, and if you want me to answer more hub request related to this topic I will be happy to do so.
Extremely useful information. This means you must update your hubpages and your profile too.
Waoh! What an extemely informative write up.I relly enjoy this. Now I know I should update my hubpages and profiles.
Thanks for this tip. Yours was the first hub page I saw after joining yesterday, and this showed me how to link to my website, which I didn't know how to do. I day here, and I already learned something important.
This is very good information for people who ae new using the site. Thanks
for the informaiton.
Paul Gardner
nice one
ParrotMann,
I am honored to hear that my page was the first you ever saw. Glad to hear it was of use to you and welcome to hubpages!
Thanks for commenting Paul and I love Hubbing.
SweetiePie, what an awesome Hub. I have to admit that I haven't paid much attention to profiles, mine or anyone else's, since I've been here. So, going through your Hub and all its comments has been a real eye opener. I've now looked at nearly every profile of those who have commented here, and I'm about to view some more. A profile can tell a good story, just like a Hub can, and yet I was never interested in using it quite that way, until now. So, all thumbs up!
Hi Sally,
I am glad that this hub has at least given you some inspiration for future edits of your profile. Of course I think each of us can come up with are special and unique ways of editing profiles. Thanks for stopping by.
Hi SweetiePie -- I caught the title in Hubtivity and was reminded I wanted to tell you I decided to redo my profile! I did that after some though caused by this very hub :-)
Elena,
I am glad to hear you have got your profile looking the way you like. The thing I love about profiles is we can continoulsy update these. Nothing is set in stone :).
SweetiePie,
The hubscore shows the value of the hub dear. I wish it reaches 100 soon.
Great job. Thumbs up!
Thanks weblog. I have been away from the Internet until today because my cable modem and phone did a big crash. Thanks for the nice message and letting me know :).
thanks, sweetie pie, will try this soon
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks sweetiepie. Your hubs are always really helpful, and I like how you speak from experience! Once I write more hubs I'll start adding in some hyperlinks. Like others have said, I never really considered the importance of updating your profile. This article really helped :)
Hi Lena,
I appreciate your comments and I am sure your profile will be great. I have noticed having hyperlinks and updating my profile often bring some interesting searches to even my profile page, which is great because at least this way new traffic are reading the hubs.
very informative.. the pictures helped explain the idea in a clear manner

G'day SweetiePie, I had never considered my Profile to be all that important , and you have opened my eyes . I will be studying the above info more fully in the next few days and do a revamp on my own profile.
Thanks for this information and thumbs up from me! :-[)
btw nice photo, as usual!
