How To Grow A Beard
76Grow A Beard And Be Happy Like This Dude!
Grow That Beard
Growing a beard isn't terribly difficult, but it does need a little maintenance with certain grooming products, so listen up men(and women!) if you need to learn how to grow a beard then you have come to the right place, as this takes time and planning, like everything in life.
First you will need to shave your chin and cheeks and make sure there is no dead skin around your intended bearded area, you can use some facial scrubs or a soft flannel for this, but I refer to wash first with soap and warm water, which gets rid of any grease and then I scrub my cheeks and chin and top moustache lip with my fingers and you'll see the dead skin come off.
Now just apply aftershave and tend to any shaving cuts and after this you play the waiting game and watch as if by magic, small beard hairs begin to grow after a few short days, it'' take some time to grow fully, but you still need to monitor your beards hair growth and look after your faces skin underneath as the hairs will itch more and dry skin may flake off and that's no good if you make pizzas for a living.
After a couple of weeks you will have what is called an unshaved criminal look or a can't be arsed to shave look which still at this point won't be classed as a proper beard, but if you leave your beard to grow, you can later trim and shave it how you want.
If you're after a huge beard, be prepared to grow it over a period of a few years at least, jut so you know there is no instant beardy fix overnight if you want to get served in your local bar when you are under age.
So, all you crazy people searching for this topic - It's fairly straight forward, so to summarize:-
- Shave once
- Remover dead skin
- Apply aftershave
- Leave beard to grow
- Trim as necessary
- Optional colour later to be cool
- Become a wizard

Cheers Shannon!
The look on that blokes face is priceless...ooh lets take a photo of your body beard...er ok, but I've just woke up!! hahahaha!
I shall pass this one. Hubby has a beard at certain times in the year. With age it is starting to look like an upside down emulsion paint brush covered in white paint lol
Yeah there is always that emulsion paint brush look that always gets in the way of a good beard!!
I love beards on men although some look much better without them. The man in your picture has gone beyond beard to a year round natural blanket…LOL, amazing!
I'm sure it was part of his audition piece for The Planet Of The Apes!!
I think we found who was in those mysterious 'Big-Foot / Yeti' photos. I knew a kid in grade-school who was shaving down to his clavicles in 5th grade. His whole family was hairy.
Yep they found bigfoot sat in front of the TV bored of reality TV....there's a lot of hairy people out there and they either wax or go swinging in the trees!!lol!
LOL great hub
LOL...
Thanks for the advice, but I think I'll pass ;-) I don't think my boyfriend would like a beard on me very much (nor would I.)
Very informative if I ever change my mind though!
XOXOXO
Thanks Lyrics and Jessica!
I think growing a beard is one of the best ways to look cool like the dude in that picture lol!
You could always have a beard wig and wear that instead of going through all that fuss of having to grow one!!!
