You Have Bad Credit?

How to repair a bad credit? To repair a bad credit record is like healing a broken-heart. But I guess to repair a broken heart is easier than repair a bad credit.

Like a broken-heart, bad credit is painful. And it affects you for sure and your family as a whole. It's not good to have a bad credit. Or more likely, to repair a bad credit is very time-consuming and expensive.

But having a bad credit is sometimes inevitable. To have a perfect record is sometimes easier said than done. But don't despair if you have a bad score, really bad score, there is a hope. If you are willing to go through processes and spend time and money, you can repair your bad credit score.

If you think about it, there are endless possibilities to repair a bad score. Many professional groups are there to offer you a repair. It's up to you to know and decide your budget for these repair services. They can offer you many repair options.

Now, what are the disadvantages of having a bad credit score?

First, if you have a bad credit score, you cannot mortgage a house. Because the lender and the bank do not approve people with bad credit records. So you have to buy a house with cash if you are that rich.

Second, It's very hard for you to get a car. Car seller will check on your report. So you have to buy a car in cash, again if you are that rich.

Third, you cannot be approved on loans of any kinds. Lenders always check your score.

Fourth, some employer requires their employee to have a good or excellent score. So, there is a chance you will not be hired in a certain company just because of your bad credit score.

Fifth, you will not be approved if you\'re going to apply for major credit cards. Like Visa, mastercard, discover and others. In fact, even in the store credit cards! like amazon, walmart, target, sears, bestbuy, home depot and others! Although there are some who will offer you credit cards but the interest rates are very high.

Is'nt it painful? It really does!

Also, I understand a lot of people have a mountain of medical bills! Including me. And guess what, if you are unable to pay your medical bills after a very longtime, it is being reported to the credit bureaus as "unpaid obligation". I have researched thoroughly about medical bills being reported to the bureaus. I know you can pay it little by little until paid off. But be sure to complain if you find fault on the agencies behalf. I have friends who find a lot of discrepancies on their medical bilings. Including myself!

So to protect you record, be sure to check those medical bills from hospitals or collection agencies thoroughly! and report every discrepancies. You can even write to the 3 major bureaus for a complains on the bills.

So if you have a bad credit, repair is a serious thing since your credit determines so much of your life in today's world. Again, credit can effect your ability to buy a home, even renting an apartment, buy a car, employment, or even finance your new washer and dryer. That is why you should take repair very seriously.

Although you can still get some stuff with bad C. score, but they come with very high interest rate.

Okay, what I really want to say here is, How do you heal or repair your bad records?

First, repairing can be time consuming and expensive. As I have mention earlier.

Although it consumes a lot of time and money, the rewards of removing blemishes on your reports is rewarding.

Many businesses offer to repair your credit. There are repair specialists, repair lawyers, repair kits and credit repair counseling; the list goes on and on.

But I have found a simple way to repair your C. score.

Apply for a "Secured Credit card". This type of credit card means, you secure your credit line by the amount collateral you deposited to their bank. Your credit line therefore, is determined by the amount you deposited as collateral. Major secured credit cards has a credit line from $300 up to $25.000.00. But read and check carefully all of the secured credit card terms and conditions. Including the APR of Annual percentage rate on purchases and balances. Find an APR rate that is affordable, ranging from 9% to maybe 13.99%. And be sure to pay your monthly minimum bill each month, in order to rebuild and repair your bad credit history. As much as possible, pay the whole balance amount on the 1st due date, so it will not incurr interest rate.

And most importantly, find the secured credit card that reports to the major credit bureaus. read carefully that the certain type of secured credit card you are getting will report your payment history to the 3 major credit bureaus. If you cannot read on their page that they report to the credit bureaus, then do not apply for that certain type of secured credit card. There's several secured credit cards out there that DOES NOT report your payment history to the credit bureaus! So be careful and read everything carefully. If you got the secure credit card that does'nt report to credit bureaus then your effort, time and money will just be useless and wasted. Because, the reason why you're getting a secure credit card is to build or rebuild your credit.

You will have no problem applying for a secured credit card because you will be approve instantly! since they don't check Credit records as this is their way to help you rebuild/repair your score status. As you shop, your payment history is reported to the 3 major bureaus each month. You can repair and improve your C. score eventually in no time.

I've got one. I applied for this to make a record history. This is very good both for repairing and making a Credit history.

There is even a certain prepaid debit that you will get credit by paying your bills! And it is reproted to the major bureaus. And you can also loan money for emergencies. It is really cool. My husband got one. So be wise. Be credited by paying your bills.

And after you have made a good credit history for at least a year or two, through the secured credit cards, you can then apply for a regular major credit cards. Just keep your best interests in mind. This time, discipline yourself.

Your Credit score is very important that you should act to repair it now. You may even find your own way to repair your score. It's not bad to have a low score, but it can affect you in many ways. To have an excellent score is important. So, think about now on how you can repair your Credit score.

It's really good to repair your C. score now. The only bad thing is, if you don't repair your bad Credit score.

Hope I have helped you in how to repair your bad C. score. And enlighten you in any ways to repair the bad C. score.

The part about the credit cards is partially true. If you have poor credit or even filed for bankruptcy you will end up getting even more offers than you did before. My sister-in-law filed for bankruptcy and within about two weeks was getting credit card offers, but the interest rate was about 20.99%. You can still get stuff with bad credit, but you will not get the zero down anymore that so many of us have gotten used to having.

I really like what Flightkeeper said. All of this does take time, but if you are willing to work with creditors and really make an effort to pay what you owe, you'll find that repairing your credit is not impossible. Thanks for sharing this.

Good tips, be careful though with he prepaid visa/mastercards. Make sure they won't fee you to death and that in fact they report your activity to the credit bureaus. It does take time to repair your credit but it depends on how bad it is to begin with as derogatory information stays in your report for years.

Sounds to me like the best plan is not to get a bad credit history in the first place, appreciate that is easier said than done though for a lot of people.

Great hub, I don't have a credit problem but want to learn everything I can about building good credit. Another good tip is that after you have had the pre-paid credit card for awhile and have built up a little bit of credit. Apply for a real credit card and continue with the same habits as the pre-paid debit card. It's really important to use your credit card as much as you can for all your bills and always keep a zero balance at the end of the month. I have done this for years now, and have an excellent credit rating.

Good Hub, I also hear/see ads for "$1,000 we'll fix your credit" and I think, is this real? I had to learn the hard way and becuase I had to pay my way through college raked up a considerable amount of debt.... It wasn't easy to get out, but it wasn't that bad....... I wish I knew the importance of credit earlier rather than later.

Look! There is no way for my credit to be clean again.Am in black list about a year now.But as i can remember Banks were not always very open to people.Loans for everything and credit cards with high limits are about 15 years old,so the crash was sure.I think that everyone who's in bad credit can find more tradicional ways to borrow money.
