Making and creating your own websites is often unavoidable if you're trying to make money online

If you're trying to make money online one of the things that you'll inevitably run into one day is the necessity to learn how to make your own website. Whether you're doing affiliate marketing, selling your own products online or involved with network marketing (MLM) you're bound to have to learn to create a website.

Attention - for those of you who are making money with eBay Partner Network it seems that they're heavily leaning in the direction of making their affiliate marketers link to eBay auctions DIRECTLY from sites you OWN and CONTROL and not sites such as HubPages and Squidoo. So, I'm writing this so that you may be able to continue making money online through EPN.

WordPress is a "Content Manager" which allows you to create and manage your own websites without having to know fancy code

What is WordPress? WordPress is known as what's called a "content manager". it helps you to create and manage pages of your website. There are two versions of WordPress: 1) WordPress.org and 2) WordPress.com. WordPress.com is very similar to Google's Blogger. It's a free service where Blogger hosts your blogs and all you have to do is add content. WordPress.com's biggest rule and sticking point which people don't like is that you're not allowed to insert your own Google AdSense, like Blogger.com. WordPress.org is slightly different than WordPress.com. While WordPress.org is also free you MUST host your own domain at your web hosting service. WordPress offers thousands of fr*eee templates and plugins

WordPress is a wonderful platform for making websites because it does not require the Internet marketing newbie to learn any complicated script or HTML code. It offers literally THOUSANDS of fr*eee templates (and premium templates if you pay) and thousands of "plugins". Plugins are simply additional functionalities that you can add to your website to make it perform more tasks.

Goolge LOVES WordPress websites and indexes them very fast

In my opinion THE reason why WordPress is so great is that not only is it easy to learn how to use, GOOGLE LOVES IT. In general, if you build a WordPress blog site that has sufficiently good and original content and do your work promoting your site it will get indexed by Google very fast. In fact, I have had MUCH better luck with WordPress blogs than Blogger blogs since I've been doing Internet marketing.

WordPress.com and eBay Partner Network go hand-in-hand

If you're making money with eBay Partner Network one of the best ways to link into eBay is with a WordPress blog site. I have been doing this for a while with a nice degree of success. In this series of hubs and YouTube videos it's my intention to show you exactly how to accomplish making money with WordPress and eBay Partner Network simultaneously. I use a specific plugin which allows my pages to populate with eBay auctions through RSS feeds. I'll get into this plugin and how to use it in a future hub. I'll also get into how I do website promotion so please stay tuned.

How to install WordPress On A New Domain Name On Your Web Host

For now the task at hand is installing WordPress onto your new domain name. In the YouTube video below I'll show you exactly where to click so that you can seemlessly install WordPress on any new domain name you purchase. The basic flow is like this: 1) Open your control panel (cPanel) on your web host, 2) Scroll down to Simple Scripts, 3) Click install the latest version of WordPress (Now 2.8.1), 4) Chose the domain name on which you want to install WordPress (BE VERY CAREFUL HERE AND DO NOT AND I REPEAT NOT INSTALL WP ON AN EXISTING WEBSITE CUZ YOU'LL F**K YOUR EXISTING SITE), 5) Accept the terms of service and you're up and running.
