Hot Chocolate

I love a good hot chocolate. A good hot chocolate is especially nice on a cold winters day but you can have them all year round. Now you don’t have to go to a cafe to get a good hot chocolate you can make them at home. This hub will teach you how to make hot chocolate.

How To Make A Hot Chocolate

The key ingredients you need is off course chocolate. Get some good chocolate. It can be milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or even white chocolate. The choice is yours.

You want to chop up the chocolate nice and fine. I recommend you use a serrated knife for doing this.

The more chocolate you use the stronger and richer the hot chocolate is going to be. As a guide aim for 25g of chocolate per cup of liquid. You can always add more.

Fire up the stove top to a medium-low or low setting. Now you want to pour the milk or water into the pot. Slowly add the chocolate.

Make sure you are continuously stirring with a whisk until the liquid and chocolate combine completely. If you see flecks of chocolate then just keep stirring until they have melted and gone.

When ready turn the heat off and immediately pour into cups. You can garnish your hot chocolate if you wish. Some ideas are mint leaves, cinnamon sticks, or whipped cream. Enjoy your drink.

How often do you have hot chocolate?
