When I first arrived in Taiwan to teach English I was completely new and I just wanted to make some money.

In this website I will tell you how to be the best English teacher in Asia within your first few months..

I will tell you what is expected of any and every ESL teacher.

I will tell you to seperate yourself from all of the "other" English teachers,

and I will tell you the best ways to make money while Teaching English in Asia.

My name is Matthew T. and I have become known as an English Teaching God.

The way that I transformed myself was not easy. I picked up things along the way, I added new things that I was interested in into my Teaching Skills, I learned every single classroom game that I could, I learned how to market/advertise myself and the schools that I work for on the internet and now for the first time ever... I am going to share my experiences and know how to make you a teaching God yourself.

Rule 1: Be Yourself

Maybe you have decided to try to make some money Teaching English.

Don't try to be like me...

Don't try to be like your budyy...

Be yourself! It doesn't matter if it takes you longer to learn how to make it work. If you try to

be some who you are not, you will be miserable; your students will see right through you, the parents will know that you are a fake and you will always fail trying to be something that you are not.

When I first started teaching English ( I shouldn't say this...but ) I really took it as a joke.

I was happy because I thought that I had found the easiest job in the word. I would just play games with kids, talk to them about whatever I wanted, etc. etc. But the truth is that this is what teaching English is all about.

I have met people that struggled trying to make money teaching English, but not every job/career path is right for everyone.

If it is right for you... you will know it! If  you don't enjoy it, then I am sure that you will find your dream job, but if it is not right for you... first be yourself and give it a shot! Don't try to act like some guy that you saw on TV; this is your life and live your life the way that you are supposed to ~ as yourself.

 Rule 2: Every Closed Door Opens Ten New Ones

How much money do I make now? More money than 99% of all English teachers...

but I didn't start out making that much money.

I have been fired more times then most ESL teachers.

The reasons why I had been fired so many times is because I was in the process of finding my groove; and also I WAS NEVER REALLY TRAINED BY ANYONE.

Well... I shouldn't say that.

When I first came to Taiwan, I came because my brother and his now wife were working as ESL teachers in Taipei, Taiwan.

I actually owe my teaching Career and all of my experiences in Asia to him.

On the first day of school we went into an empty classroom. He showed me how to play one game.

And when I say "JUST ONE GAME," I am not trying to say that this game was insufficient. This one ESL Game is without a doubt the greatest ESL Game in the world and it got me threw my first year of Teaching English in Taiwan.

So... if you are somewhere in Asia teaching English, or you are a teacher and you want to add some spice to your classroom... try this game out.

WARNING: This game can make your students cry; but after they stop crying, they will want to play it again tomorrow and the next day and the next day.

Since the day that I learned this ESL Classroom Game I have tweaked it a little, added new things to it, and I was even selling this game ~ just this one game online for $97. And I to this date I have sold over one thousand copies. The reason why people pay money to learn this game is... because if you know this game... you can really, true to God, be a very successful English Teacher anywhere in world and make money.

But... I will not sell you this game. I will just show you a video and a quick description on how to play it.

 1. To make money teaching English you will need to know many ESL Classroom Teaching Games / Activities. ( If you didn't see them already... go up and click on the link to watch the 30+ teaching Games / Activities.

2. If you are a good / bad / average English teacher you will probably make roughly the same amount of money as any other ESL teacher.

To make big money teaching English you will need to do this...

Before I explain how to do it... look at this.

English Schools pay their ESL teachers roughly 1,500US - 3,500US per month depending on which country, which school, etc.

Why would your school pay you more money? Think about it?

Why would any school pay you more money than some other teacher?

1. Are you easily replaceable?

Most English teachers are easily replaceable. Trying to hire teachers to work at your school can be challenging because all of the teachers are basically the same - untrained and bring nothing to the table other than the ability to teach kids their ABC's, count to 10, ask them questions from a book. What can you do that other teachers can't or don't do?

Take out a piece of paper and write "Why I am a better English Teacher then Everybody Else."

(And if you are not going to actually write it... please, atleast think about it in your head before you go onto the next paragraph.)

The Easiest Way to Make Money Teaching English in Asia is this:

BRING IN MORE MONEY THAN THE LAST TEACHER... and you will make more money than that teacher.

Let's look at a quick example.

ESL Teacher 1 is a "Good" teacher. He has had one new student join his class.

ESL Teacher 2 is an "Amazing" teacher. Everybody loves her, she is so positive, she plays great games, and she really cares about her students.

ESL Teacher 3 is not even close to the best teacher... but he ( I ) know how to get students to join my class and school - and they join because of me.

A lot of students will join your school through out the year, but most of them are friends / family members of other students or they live close to the school.

I bring in students from all over and even out of the city to my school.

How do I do it?

1. I use technology. Look at my brand spankin' new video for one of my many products.

To wrap up this lesson:

1. Learn, practice and if you can create new ESL Classroom Teaching Games / Activities.

2. Be yourself, and only try to make big money teaching English in Asia IF YOU LOVE YOUR JOB.

One other way to become the best in any field that you choose... is to learn from

the best. I am not the best, but I probably know more about teaching English than you.

And I also probably know more about how to bring in money to your business than most people.

I studied business before I ever touched down in Asia. I also learned how to use the advertise and market businesses using the internet.

1. If you want to make more money for your school... the only way that I know is to bring in more money. It doesn't matter if you are the secretary, the janitor, a teacher or whatever. Whoever brings in extra money ( on top of the money that is already being brought into the school ) will always be paid for that.

 Before I go into the some of the different ways "To Make More Money

by Bringing in More Money..." let me show you some of the places that I have

been to in Asia. And... all of my "vacations" were all paid for by my schools as

bonuses for the extra amount of money that I brought into the business.

And... yes... I will show you how to do it if you continue to read...

 I should also mention that if you are considering Teaching English

in Asia... whenever you go on holiday Thailand, Australia, the Philippines,

Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing and so many

other amazing and exotic places are all within a few hour plane ride from one another.

You could spend years travelling around these amazing places and I do.

The secret is just to keep doing the things that bring in the money. And those things

are not that hard to do. And once you learn how to do them, you can do them over and

over again!
