You do not want to be seem that you are just copying and pasting information from the product you are trying to sell, what has worked for me in hubpages is to create hubs providing tips and techniques related to the product but not forced the product on the reader, give the product as a recommendation and do not overflood the hub with multiple links to the product I only put one link to the product I am selling, again what you are trying to do is make the sale without forcing the product on the reader.

2. YOU MUST BE ORIGINAL AND CONSISTENT

Original in the sense that copying and pasting word for word from the products sales page will not get you sales, create unique original hubs related to the product, for example if you product is an ebook that helps people be more organized then make a hub of tips of how to be more organize and then at the end throw the link with a little explanation about the product, consistency is very important one hub about a product may not get you enough clicks to your product so what I do is create at least 3 hubs about something related to the product and on each hub put the link to the product since its related to the content of the hub.
