How To Make Money Writing Hubpages - Google Adsense

Did you by any chance read that worthless hub about "the secret to making money with hubpages" or other worthless similar hubs that are completely (almost completely) off topic and pointless? If you think the universe is out to get you and you are just a loser by default then please stop reading now for your own sake. Also, please do yourself a favor for the next handful of minutes and forget everything you think you know about making money with adsense and making money with hub pages. Seriously, forget it all. The reason for me saying this is because 99.999 repeating forever percent of people who are telling you how to do things are absolutely wrong about almost everything they say. I dont blame these people even though are are talking out of their you know whats. The thing is most people who do this have no idea that that have no idea. Ironic if you ask me.

Ok enough of the psychology lesson. If you are reading this hub, then you probably are not making money with hubpages and you are probably not making money online at all (or very small amounts of money). And either what you know is not working or you are not implementing the things you know that will make you money. But guess what. Those things are still wrong. I just had to repeat that, so forget them and forget everything. Have I rambled long enough without saying anything yet? If you are still reading this then I applaud you. Now for the good stuff about the real, honest, and smart way to make money online with hub pages.

Now I have a question for you. Don't worry there is a point behind it.

Do you think im going to make any money from this hub?

The answer is a big raging no! Here is where everyone gets confused as to why a guy who admits he will not make any money from this hub could possibly know anything about making money with hubpages, geesh.

The reason why this hub wont make any money is because the only people who are going to read it are you fellow hubbers. People who also write on hubpages and are just sneaking around looking for a way to make some money off of all their "hard" work, and hubbers just out for a Sunday stroll. You reading this are probably a hubber. Are you going to click on my lovely ads at the top of my page? That would be nice for me but I really doubt it. Think about that for a minute. If your pages are only being read by fellow hub page writers and hub page writers don't click on the ads then how do you expect to make money doing this.

Dun dun dun. the answer is by getting search engine traffic to come to your hubs. These are the people that are going to make you money and this is the only way you are going to make any sort of decent income with your hubpages, you just have to trust me on this because I could write 5 more articles explaining why.

Ok, ok so how do I get search engine traffic?

You do this by getting ranked on the mother of all search engines of course; the big G, google.

The best and easiest way you are going to make any decent money from this search engine traffic is to get as much of it as possible. The more people, the more money. Get it?

Here is what you should do.

1. Write lots and lots of long exhausting hubs about a range of topics
2. Pick topics that have high paying adsense advertisements associated with them
3. Write about something specific (a niche)
4. Write about something people are actually searching for (answer a question)
5. Plan out and pick out a main keyword and sub-keywords beforehand that you are trying to target with your hub and use them periodically in the natural flow of your hub
6. Track your results (which topics are getting the most readers and highest adsense clicks) and take advantage of what is working for you by writing more hubs on your more successful topics

Thats the summary, and honestly I could write 5 more 2000 word hubs about the details of each of these steps but you are just going to have to empower yourself to think about what I am saying and look into them further and educate yourselves. Or you could always beg me to write more, or ignore me or bribe me.

Ok now let me clarify a few things here. But first I have another question and scenario for you. (Oh no!)

Pretend I wrote a hub about making money with hubpages, oops bad example hehe, but just follow along hehe. Now pretend a bunch of little hubbers wanting to learn the secrets of making money with hubpages wander in and absolutely love what I have to write about. Let even say for giggles that for some reason or another lots of random search engine users were searching for the term "make money with hubpages using adsense" or something similar. And for a really big laugh lets pretend this hub you are reading now ranked #1 in google for that term that all these people are looking for.

Now these people all come to my pretty little hub and this makes me really happy because these people do not write hubpages yet. They are just looking at a potential way to make money online writing. They are not hubbers and that's a good thing because you hubbers reading this dont make me any money because you don't click on my ads. More bad news is that these new people coming in from the search engine decide they love reading all about what I have to say too. What do you think they do when they love reading my hub? They read and read and read and oops they don't click on my ads either because they love getting the free information im providing them with, they want to stay here and learn and maybe even post a comment about how great I am.

Meanwhile, even though I love writing and helping people (because im just that great of a guy) I get frustrated too because I am a poor jobless college student that was hoping to make some money off of this stuff (submit your own situation here ^ ^). The sad truth here is that the crappier you write the more likely people will be turned off when they see your page and want to escape through your adsense links. Another sad truth is that the better looking your website or hub page is the less likely you are to make money with adsense.

The gist of all this is that you basically have two choices. You can write to people or you can write to spiders. Its the choice to be noble and be a starving poor writer who makes nothing or on that makes money and can support themselves while still doing what they love to do. But wait, what do you mean by spiders? When I say spider I am referring to the google bot that crawls around on all websites and ranks them. The spiders are not very smart sadly so you have to speak to them a little differently. And ironically enough if you write for the bots and not people, more people will come to your site and you will make more money off of those people that you are not making from fellow no good hubbers who don't make you any money.

The silver lining behind all of this is that there is middle ground when it comes to writing quality articles and making money online with hubpages and adsense. I like to think that I provided some useful information in this hub and yet if this was about a niche topic I think it would do quite well. Notice how I this hub is super long and in the first paragraph I basically called my readers stupid. That is bound to turn off a lot of people which will probably either leave or find something they like better via the adsense ads (hopefully). Other people will be turned off by the sheer length of this hub and wont want to spend all their time reading another hub from some idiot who thinks he knows how to make money with hubpages. Another useful aspect of the long post is that there are more words and phrases to possibly get ranked on the search engines (google) for. Some of which I probably did not even think of before hand and I just wronte naturally within the context of this hub.

To summarize all of this information you want to find a small group of people who are searching for information relating somewhat to a marketable product or service (ex. skin care -> skin cream or exercise -> weight loss pills or programs) and you want to provide value to that person to help them answer their question. But remember that if you answer it too well then you will probably make less money. Keep in mind you can still give great information deep in your hub for people who really really decide they trust you and decide they want to keep reading your entire long and boring hubpage. But just remember, if your hub is prettier and more useful to the reader than the adsense ads they will stick around, but a plain ugly long somewhat useful but rambling hub to a lot of people does not strike them as a good source of information and thats okay because our friendly adwords advertisers will help them out. Thats right, my lack of writing skills may just be my greatest asset when it comes to making money with huppages!
