The Yo Gabba Gabba television show is a huge hit with toddlers and preschoolers. Infants as young as a year old sing and dance along to the show. There are so many ways in which you can create an awesome Yo Gabba Gabba birthday cake using fondant. Regardless of your expertise with using fondant, there is a birthday cake you can make that your child and party guests will love!

Fondant cakes can be a rectangular sheet cake, round cake, tiered cake or even a teapot cake as shown. When making your Yo Gabba Gabba birthday cake, be sure to include lots of fun, bright colored fondant since this best reflects the colorful characters on the television show.

For the characters, you can mold them out of fondant. If that is too difficult, you can purchase Yo Gabba Gabba toy figures and use them to top your cake. Either way, the cake will look terrific.

Brobee is the lovable green monster that the little kids adore. If Brobee is your child's favorite Yo Gabba Gabba character, you could create a Brobee birthday cake for their special day. I am featuring a few cute birthday cake designs here to give you some fun ideas for your cake.

You could also have a Brobee cake and then add toppers for the other characters. This way Brobee is the main attraction, however, you are still incorporating all of the other fun Yo Gabba Gabba characters.

Using red, green and black fondant, you can add Brobee's face onto to your cake or cupcakes as shown. Also, a fun way to give Brobee fur is to use coconut flakes. Place the coconut flakes in a Ziploc bag, add food coloring and move the flakes around to coat. Top the cake with the coconut flakes. Courtney's Brobee Cake recipe below uses this method.

Plex is another very popular Yo Gabba Gabba character. He is a magic yellow robot.

To create a Plex cake like the one pictured here simply bake a cake in a round cake pan. Cover the cake in yellow icing or fondant. Then use black and white fondant or icing to create the eyes. For the top and side antennas you can use black Twizzlers or pretzel sticks covered in black icing and a red jelly bean. Then wrap the side antennas with sliver fondant. How cute!

The Plex cupcake recipe below is from Nick Jr. These cupcakes feature basic vanilla cupcakes topped with Taffy strips (Air Heads), licorice laces, and mini M&Ms.

Foofa, the pink flower bubble, is the favorite Yo Gabba Gabba character for many little girls. She is pink and sports a beautiful daisy. What's not to love?

This Foofa cupcake featured here was created by xqueenoffoolsx. It is a vanilla cupcake topped with fondant shapes. I think it came out adorable and does not look too difficult to create.

Nick Jr. has a Foofa cupcake recipe that uses red and pink fruit chews and M&Ms.

Little girls love Foofa, but they also adore her daisies. If you are making a Foofa birthday cake or cupcakes for your Yo Gabba Gabba party, you can incorporate the fun look of daisies, too! Here are some ideas:

Daisy Cake Pan
You can bake a cake in a specialty Daisy Cake Pan and decorate using light pink and yellow icing or fondant.  Once finished, place a fondant Foofa or Foofa toy figure in the middle of the daisy.

Daisy Cupcakes or Mini Cakes
Using the Wilton Daisy cupcake pan or mini-cake pan, bake Daisy cupcakes or mini cakes. Once the cake is finished, you can top each one with a Foofa cake topper. Another idea would be to bake a Foofa cake and then place the daisy cupcakes or mini cakes around the cake.

Daisy Fondant Shapes or Cookies
Use a Daisy cutter to create Daisy fondant shapes for your Foofa cake. You could also make Daisy cookies to serve with your Yo Gabba Gabba cake or to hand out as party favors.

Daisy Lollipops
Use the Daisy lollipop mold to make Daisy lollipops. These lollipops can then be inserted into the finished Foofa cake or handed out as party favors.

Bake a round cake and then top with fondant chicken, green beans, juice cup, carrots and cheese. This comes out so cute.
